I have had the pleasure to have several different kind of Yankee Droll feeders.
Wish I had MORE!!! NO effidence of material deteriorating from the elements-
They are super easy to fill, and hang and Clean- The smaller Birds seem to really like the design-
I cant keep my large one stocked with Black oil seed- It is by far one of their favorites, mine too- Usually go through about 5 pounds a week! ( ONE MY FRONT PORCH FEEDER) Lots of Chicadees, titmouse, and my wonderful Rosey breasted Nuthatches are my usual customers here!
I keep mine under the edge of either the porch, or roof overhang- It rains a lot here- Seems like the ones that are sheltered get the most attention- The Blue Jays cant get access, but a cleaver squirrel will find a way to the ports if there is something to stand on in the area, (like a hanging Planter)!"..."
