I bought this cage to serve both as a sleep cage and a travel cage. This cage is not intended to be used as a primary cage. I have seen a lot of junk cages out there but this is not one of them. The quality of this cage is excellent. I love the snap together design with no screws or bolts to mess with. And yes, it is just as sturdy (or more so) than being bolted together. Has slide out bottom tray for cleaning. Feeder cups are well thought out. Comes with a couple of items to truly make this travel cage complete and ready to go. I was so pleased with this brand and design that I bought a second one for our other parrot. This cage is only suited for a bird up to an African Grey in size. I found you on the web after looking locally for a specific size birdcage to replace my two worn out ones for my two Senegal parrots. The dimensions seemed correct so I took a leap of faith and ordered these. To my surprise, they arrived very fast, were a snap to put together (even my nine year old helped without direction) and, most importantly, fit perfectly in my bird stands,they are very pretty in my breakfast room in the white color. I purchased this cage for my cockatiel and it is perfect! It is not a heavy duty cage but is more than strong enough for a cockatiel. My bird is so much happier with all the space he plays and sings so much more than he did in a smaller space. He also loves the open top although it did take several months for him to really feel comfortable climbing around and using the top space. My only minor complaint is that I'd love a couple more doors for food and water. Overall I think this cage is a really great value for a smaller bird."..."  Read more
