Bird Baths

I am really happy with my birdbath. The birds fly onto it to drink or take baths in it all the time! I think the little bird on the edge attracts them. It is fun to watch the different species of bird use it. It is made of a good, heavy cement casting but it is light enough that I can hand tilt it and use my garden hose to wash it out when needed. Very easy to keep clean. It looks like durable material that will last a long time. The sun has caused some slight yellowing here and there, must be some kind of finish coating on it...but it looks kind of antique now so I don't mind that it did that. We had a resin bird bath for @ 30 yrs. that never gave us a problem and was left out all yr. long. This spring my husband put his finger through the top of it and we were off to find another one. As always, my Wayfair purchases are shipped so quickly and arrive in mere days. This bird bath is simple so there were not many expectations. It did have a few blue "smudges" around the bowl's exterior but I just call it "character." If I were a perfectionist, I'd probably not have liked it.
