I love this machine. Although if you are closer to the six foot range in height I would recommend a larger machine. Pros are its a good size, it doesn't need a lot of space so it stores well. Cons are the stride isn't very long so you don't always get a full range of motion. It was super easy to put together but very heavy. quality is sturdy and nice looking. Seems to be holding together well.

Has a solid feel, decent considering the low end of the price range. Very smooth and quiet operation, rivals gym equipment. However, what is impossible to find on line, [...] this only has a 12" stride, just over half the stride length of most full-size elipticals in the gym. Best Fitness Customer Service told me 18", which is why I bought it. But 12" is just too short for me, at 5' 9". May keep for the wife and kids, still undecided there.Console is powered by two AA batteries, not the machine. Speedometer is way off on mine, reads a 6 minute mile when I'm doing 8 minute pace at best especially with the choppy stride. As expected in this price range, console is LCD, black on gray and not back-lit so needs to be in well-lit area to be able to read. MUCH assembly required, took me about an hour after I had everything unpacked and accounted for, and I'm faily handy with tools. Manual recommends professional assembly, but that would be a bit overboard.Overall, with the smooth and quiet operation, I wish this had a long enough stride for me, it would definitely be money well spent.
