I love these bunk beds and so does my 4-year-old granddaughter who sleeps in them. She sleeps in the top bunk which is very cozy in its little box. The drawers are roomy. I love that the head of the bottom bunk is not under the top bunk, thus eliminating a child's fear that the top bunk will fall on them. These beds are a great space saver and well-designed. I bought my own knobs for them because I didn't like the rubbery plastic knobs that came with them. Also, I successfully put it together by myself but the directions tell you to attach screws into places that don't exist or that the screws they give you won't reach. These bunk beds were absolutely wonderful!! I love them. They are perfect for two little girls which is who I got them for. I got these for my daughters (5 and 2) and they just loved it. The stairs are safe for my daughters to run up and down on them and the drawers on the beds were so deep that I can fit so much in them. This is a really nice bunk bed. So much different than the "old school" bunk beds. It is really big, you need to make sure you have enough space for this large piece of furniture. Also, it is next to impossible to make (put the sheets on)...then again I am pregnant."..."  Read more

I bought this bed unit as a Christmas gift for 2 of my granddaughters. My daughter and her family now have 3 girls and 2 of them are now sharing a room. They love this bed! When showing it to friends and family, the oldest (4 years) instructs the visitor to wait outside the bedroom door and then when she is ready, she yells, "OK, you can come in now!" At this point, you see her and her 2-year old sister sitting on the top bunk with a book. Seriously, the steps are sturdy, there is great drawer space. I'm satisfied that the top bunk is safe for the 4-year old who is a fairly restless sleeper. The lower bunk has side shelves with enought room for the 2-year old's baby dolls.
