Bedroom Sets

I'm an 18 year old female from California that recently moved here in Texas so I was really looking for a new beautiful bedroom set. I bought the platform, headboard, and nightstand. It took me about around 8 hours to build everything because I did it all by myself even though it says for each manual that you need about 2 people to build it. The step by step instructions will walk you through the whole thing in ease. As my very own opinion, if your bedroom is carpet and not wood floor, I suggest that you start building the platform on the side in which you will prefer to place it at. In the picture (as you can see), it's a wooden floor with a rug under the platform so it'll be easy to move but it's very hard to move on carpet. Moving and placing it was the only difficult part that I encountered. Alignment and screwing the platform was a bit frustrating because some screws didn't really line up well so you really have to be quite patient with this one. Couple small scratches on the bed platform but I covered it with a black marker or paint if you have them. Overall, it's a great set! (P.S. My wife and I bought this bed because our old bed frame was damaged. This was a good set for the price, but we will eventually move it to our guest room because it is not the highest quality. There were no issues with the delivery. The design is for the bed not to require a box spring, but our mattress was a lot harder without it, so we put the box spring under the mattress, making the bed a lot higher than it should be. We have a very soft mattress that is still relatively new, so this is probably a common issue. That is why I selected uncomfortable as a con. Plans were easy to follow. Assembly took approximately 6-8 hours. The headboard does not come with the pieces to attach to bed frame. I secured the headboard to the wall and simply have the bed up against it. Bought this bed for my teenage son who had to have a black bed. His room is small so we wanted a compact bed with storage. I am not a big fan of press board furniture but thought I would take a chance with this. Everyone's gripes about the instructions is true. The instructions are very difficult to follow for the book case. Instructions for the bed and nightstand were not too bad. Prepare for at least three hours of assembly time. Bring a drill or prepare to twist your hand off putting in all the screws and fasteners. Once assembled the bed is big, very sturdy and does not give you the impression it is press board. Very sleek and good looking. The drawers underneath are good size and sturdy. This is a heavy bed so assemble it where you want it to stay. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase ane would recommend it. Just keep in mind to use your brain when assembling it because you will be re-assembling many parts if you follow the instructions."..."  Read more

This is my first purchase and I am satisfied, with the product and the delivery. I ordered on July 10th and I received it on July 17th via fedex - much sooner than I expected. It took me (a 'handy-challenged' woman and my nephew, also challenged, when it comes to being handy) 2.5 -3 hours...which is not bad. I'm sure for people who are handy, this set could be put together in 1/2 the time. I received all parts with some extras and I am happy with the purchase! The furniture looks just like the pictures on the web and the size is perfect for smaller / guest bedrooms. (I purchased the platform bed set with the 5 drawer chest.)
