We bought the bed because we liked it's design. First the bad:
-Unfortunately it is a little too long for our room compared to our old bed.
-Another disappointment were the drawer handles which in the picture looked metal, in actuality being just plastic colored as metal.
-The bed edges can become a hazard (hitting you foot or baby hitting their head)
- Assembly is very time consuming. I wouldn't say it takes a scientist, but it takes a lot of time. My previous bed I was able to take apart in 5 minutes, this requires at least 30-40 minutes. Not recommended if you plan to move a lot.
Good:
-nice design
-solid build
-at this point the bed is sturdy, and it makes no noise when "moving" on top of it (if you know what i mean - good for family with children)
Be careful, the bed has slats (some foam mattresses are not recommended for slats), and I didn't know when I purchased it.
Overall I am pleased with my purchase."..." Read more
