The quality of this bedroom set is top notch, with a deep, dark reddish brown (more emphasis on the red than as seen in the pictures - it's definitely an auburn as opposed to "root beer finish"). The wood is rich and smooth, and the construction is solid and very well made.The styling of the design has echoes of contemporary Asian themes (which is what I wanted) and the brushed nickel hardware looks very nice in contrast with the deeper hues of the wood.[...] I purchased the bed frame, two leg nightstands (though one had a large crack in it and is currently being exchanged), the dresser, and mirror (which includes sturdy rails in the back which the movers drilled/screwed the mirror on to the dresser with).A wonderful bedroom set that would look great in a guest bedroom or master bedroom. I was very hesitant about ordering furniture on-line. When the bed was delivered, I was amazed at the quality. It really looks like a heirloom piece of furniture and very solid. It is absolutely beautiful. I would not hesitate in ordering American Drew furniture in the future as the quality is top notch. I was slightly less than thrilled with the company that delivered it. When they were setting the bed up, they did not place the support legs in the proper place (although directions were enclosed.) But, that should be a small detail to fix."..."  Read more

Received the set last month. Unfortunately it was received with damage to 2 items. BFD has replaced one item and will send the other. Very good service on the damage. The style and quality of the furniture is good, what I expected and am very happy with it. The only reason to give it 4 stars is both the picture and description describe the finish as "root beer." There's nothing golden about the finish, it's distinctly red and darker than I expected from the pictures. Risk of ordering off the net when there's no place local to check it out. Other than the finish color discrepancy I would highly recommend it, will be getting more pieces."..."  Read more
