I grew tired of fogged bathroom mirrors and windows, and the mold and mildew threat such clinging moisture encourages. The solution was the QTXEN110S Humidity Sensing Bathroom Fan. I recommend going with a 6-inch duct to maximize air flow. The only oddity I encountered was the way in which you activate the fan to exhaust odors namely flip the wall switch from ON to OFF, pause for a second or two, and then flip the switch from OFF back to ON. Even with the company’s suggested two-function switch, you still have to flip a switch back and forth. If they had invested an additional fifteen bucks in design and development, they could have offered a push-button solution that would have been more elegant for such a sophisticated unit. And, yes, I would have paid the extra fifteen bucks. That one issue aside, I am very satisfied with the unit’s humidity-sensing feature, near-silent operation, and efficiency"..."  Read more

Love my new bathroom fan! It is as quiet as they claim. I actually got up on a step stool to put my ear right next to it to hear it running. Whisper Quiet!! I like that it is a little larger than most bathroom fans. During the installation of our previous smaller fan, the ceiling was damaged and was not covered by the fan grill cover. It looked awful but this new larger bathroom fan covers it all and looks great too. We checked out it's suction power by lighting a match, blowing it out and watching how well it sucked up the smoke. It took no time at all for all of the smoke to be gone. Works Great!"..."  Read more

I was able to install this product with minimum fuss. Wiring was easy as long as you know what you need to do and are familiar with basic circuiting. I felt the construction and "fit" of the outlet left a bit to be desired. It was loose and would not stay connected to the fan body. I used metal duct tape and that seemed to help. Other than that the fan appears to be functioning per specs. I had seen some complaints about the noisiness of this fan, but I did not find it objectionable. It is listed as a 2.0 Sone fan, and I suppose it may sound like its closer to 2.5 or 3.0, but I'm not an acoustical engineer."..."  Read more

Purchased this fan for a basement bathroom, wanting a clean design and a plentiful air flow to move air through the larger area outside the bathroom too. This fan does the job. You will hear air moving, but you wont hear a droning motor. Glad we got it."..."  Read more
