Basement Watchdog Big Combination Sump Pump System

Installation was easy. The pump has functioned through tests. I went with a deep cycle marine battery instead of the basement watchdog battery after reading many negative reviews about the OEM battery.

Did some research, this backup system is a reliable system, but wayfair had by far the best price I could find anywhere.

After doing extensive research, this is the best application of a 2-in 1 sump pump I have found, especially if you have a tight space. I connected it to the Basement Watchdog 7.5 hour battery in spite of the bad reviews it has. I conntacted the manufacterer, Glentronics, who claim any other battery will give error messages on the control panel. Time will tell how this battery holds up.

Great pump, nice having the security of the battery backup. I am not using the bw battery because of the many negative reviews I found about longevity. Instead I bought a standard deep cycle marine battery and have been using that with no problems. The charging system works just fine, and the battery powers the backup pump. The main pump is great, very powerful, clears the pit in a matter of seconds. I don't anticipate running into any problems it seems to be built very well. Again for those of you looking at buying this combination, I suggest that you do not buy the BW battery, instead go find a good deep cycle marine battery. ( Usually you can find them for less than the BW battery) I paid 89$ for my battery.

THE PRODUCT IS AS ADVERTISED AND IS EASY TO INSTALL. THE MAIN 1/2 HORSEPOWER PUMP IS VERY STRONG BUT THE BACKUP BATTERY PUMP IS NOT AS STRONG. I THINK IT WILL HANDLE THE JOB BUT WILL SEE WHEN IT ACTUALLY HAS TO WORK WITH THE POWER OFF.

I seen same pumps sold at the [...]. The online price is much better. [...]. The install was easy. I am now purchasing the battery and the acid seperatly.For this pump you need to have a 120V outlet nearby. And you need to have some skill in assembling PVC piping. Great buy. Great pump. Easy install.

I'm glad I upgraded to this model. Installation was simple and it runs very well. The backup pump is very powerful and I have no worries that this system will take cate of business when the power goes out again. Peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold
