If you knew how many hours I trolled the Internet for the perfect counter stools, you'd think, "get a life". These are great quality, great price, and their slim profile gained me real estate when my family of 5 sits to eat. I love the foot rest, and the lower height makes the area seem more spacious. Easy to asemble. Nice looking Chairs. Durable? Yet to be determined. Cons: made in china the white faux leather may dirty easily. Im happy with my purchase so far. Note: The height adjusting on the chairs may take some time getting use to. When you first asemble the chair it is set at the lowest level. To increase the height of the stool you need push the handle down as you apply pressure on the kick stand. You should not be sitting on the chair while doing this. Each push on the handle will increase the height in small increments. It will not adjust if you do not apply pressure to the kick stand and you might at that point assume you have a broken chair. But its not broken. To lower the height you need to have someone sit on the stool as you push on the handle. Each push on the handle will lower it bit by bit. None of this is in the instructions so I felt it necessary to let pontential buyers know."..."  Read more

[...] The stools look great and were a great price for the style and quality. Because the quality rating was shown to be high for these stools, I was surprised that they do seem to chip easily along the edges, which is not good, as the chips are quite visible due to the dark stain. They did arrive with some chips on the edges, (which i could live with) but since we've had them I've noticed a few small, and one very large chip. Must be caused by buttons on the back of our jeans??? Comfort level of the stools is OK...not super. Overall the look of the stools is fantastic, so as long as the chipping doesn't get out of control I'll live with them."..."  Read more

I purchased 3 barstools to use at my kitchen counter. The counter is 10 feet long, but 3 actually fit perfectly - 4 would be a tight squeeze due to the fullness of the design of these barstools. They are incredibly easy to assemble - place the base on the floor, put the pole in the base, slide the footrest onto the pole, then place the seat on top of the pole. No tools needed. It does make me nervous when I adjust their position, that they might disassemble just as easily. I guess the weight of people sitting on them makes the pieces stick together firmly, though. They aren't easy to move around, but the rotating seats make it so you shouldn't need to do so much. Super comfortable and very attractive."..."  Read more
