These bar stools are very easy to put together, and comfortable to sit on. Shipping was fast and easy to track on-line. I would have gave the bar stools five stars but the white color isn't exactly as shown . I thought it has a little shimmer to it but it's a flat white. We ordered 6 of these for our kitchen bar area a couple of weeks ago, and we are very pleased. They are attractive and appear to be high quality. A couple of our younger kids think they are great toys and have twirled and twirled on them, no ill effects, to either kids or stools. The swivel mechanism spins very easliy and seems to have good bearings. The height adjustment works flawlessly to accommodate people of different sizes. The black sleeve over the pedastel is a nice looking touch. The stools are very stable and do not feel tippy at all. I bought five of these for my long kitchen and they are perfect. I live in NYC and had found these exact chairs at a high end furniture store. My husband and I tried out about seven different chairs before picking these because of overall comfort and I was going to buy them until I found them online for a fraction of the cost! I would recommend these chairs to anyone looking for comfortable barstools. I was also torn between the black leather and white leather, but since my counter is white we went with the black and it looks awesome.The only downfall is that we do not wear shoes in the house and sometimes the metal bar where you rest your feet starts to hurt, but I am sure this would not affect anyone who had shoes on.[...] assembly was super awesome.
