Barstools

We purchased two of the 30 inch Carol custom stools and two "non-cushion" Aloha barstools for our 43 inch tall kitchen bar to try and cut down the overall cost (by not buying 4 of these more expensive stools). We purchased the 30 inch stool and found the height to be much better than the 29 inch Aloha stools we purchased. We've had the stools for approximately 2.5 months and we wished we would have paid the extra money to buy 4 of the Carol stools.They look great, and are far more comfortable with the cushion and back rest on them. There are 4 of us in our family and we often race to the bar to get the "good stool" (Carol stool) first. That kind of says it all![...] We discovered that we have additional room for more barstools and will definitely be purchasing the Carol stools. I was a bit nervous about ordering bar stools on-line, but these are fabulous. All the stools I'd looked at just didn't seem strong enough - especially with a husband who is 6'1" and weighs 260 lbs! I knew he would be sliding back on the stools and wanted something that could handle some abuse, and also look good at our new higher level kitchen counter. These stools get an A plus on both counts. Attractive (love the warm maple colour of the wood), lots of color choices for the padded cushion, and very comfortable. I am very happy with my stools. I was not planning to spend as much as I did but I'm glad I spent the extra money knowing I was able to get exactly what I wanted and getting higher quality stools that will last a long time. As stated in the product information, they did take about 5 weeks to arrive and arrived fully assembled. The stools were wrapped in a protective foam wrapping and then plastic wrap(inside the box). All stools were defect free. You can definitely tell that they are higher quality products and very well put together and look like they will last for years to come. Color was also as expected. I have the stools on a carpeted surface, but placed them onto a hardwood floor to make sure they were all level and they were. I would not hesitate to buy more of these stools."..."  Read more

After spending much time reviewing various web sites and manufacturers we finally decided that the Henry Walnut Bar Stool would be our best buy. We needed a custom height bar stool because the standard stools that we were finding in the store were either too short or too tall. We were very pleased with our order. [...]the color was what was expected, and they are very comfortable to sit in. The seats are wood, which we wanted so we could put various seat cushions on them if we desired and wash them when they are in need of a wash. However, they have been so comfortable, cushions are not needed except to add a personal touch if desired. We were happy with our purchase and there was no unwanted surprises when they arrived.
