We've had these stools about a month, with daily use at the kitchen island by kids and adults. They are wonderful, and we couldn't be happier! Ours are the dark cherry seats and black bases. What we like: - solid build, with thick wood, sturdy legs, and strong plastic floor guards. There's not a wobble in these babies! - quality wood and staining - they swivel, but not willy-nilly; the kids, therefore, aren't constantly spinning and wearing on them, but with a little push, anyone can swivel to get the seating "just right" - comfortable; we weren't sure how comfy wood seats would be with no padding, but these are quite comfortable for the kids, an average size woman, and a big guy - classy look with clean lines, no back to interfere with or bump into the countertop There's simply nothing we don't like! We had some question about the difference between this stool and the higher-priced Holland Misha stool. The Misha has more seating and color options, but after talking with Wayfair, we half expected that the difference was the swivel. This stool mentions warranty info for the swivel mechanim, but neither we nor the Wayfair were sure about that after trying to compare the two. So for the record, this stool *does* swivel 360*. The stools come fully assembled, ready to use right out of the box. All in all, these are classy, well-made stools we would buy again and heartily recommend."..."  Read more

We found this bar stool at a local store for 299. We loved them, but couldnt imagine paying that much. After a quick internet search, we found the exact same bar stool on Wayfair for less than half the price. We couldnt be happier. These bar stools are very well built and come in a variety of styles. My only minor complaint (like some other reviews) is that the seat swivel is very stiff in the beginning. After a few uses, they do loosen up."..."  Read more

I have bad knee's. The stool sits between my kitchen sink and my work island. The height of the stool and the swivel top make it very convenient to work between the two areas without having to rise to my feet. I have another Holland Bar Stool that I used so much the swivel wore out after eight years of use. This stool is a replacement for that stool. I now have a new swivel on order and then will have two stools. These stools are extremly well made and durable. The fit and finish is great. Pro: Sturdy, Solid frame Nicely finished wooden seat It also swivels Con: The swivel is stiff at first, but it will loosen a little over time. Maybe the weight of the barstool might be considered a con, it is not something you will want to carry alot. Overall: This is the kind of barstool that you will find in a resturant or a bar. The legs are very sturdy, and does not wobble. The wooden seat is thick and is concave in the middle for better comfort as oppossed to a flat seat. This is the best barstool for the price, apperance, and quality that you can find here. My guests, my family and myself enjoys sitting on these barstools at my kitchen bar.
