I had an issue with one of the four bar stools and contacted wayfair. The seat had a manufacture flaw. They replaced the seat without any questions. A few minutes on the phone and problem solve. Awesome customer service... I would recommend purchasing these stools. The bar stools are very strong and sturdy. The price is cheap and the quality is great. My only recommendation to the manufacture would be to change the bearing plate or strengthen the base of the seat. When you sit back and swivel the base touches and rubs against the bottom of the seat. Two of the four stools has this issues. Not a big deal. I added a washer between the seat and bearing plate…problem fixed. It just needed a bit more clearance."..."  Read more

We just finished out basement and added a bar. Since we just spilled an ungodly amount into the project (over budget), we wanted to go light on the bar stools. We had been seeing stools for about $400 a piece. Fortunately, we came across these and were a little hesitant for the price. But with the return policy, we figured we would put one together and see how it fits the room. Not sure if we got lucky, but these stools are a perfect color match! The assembly was not difficult, just time consuming. There are several bolts and nuts to tighten, tough angles, but not "hard". As I assembled them, I saw that these were good quality. VERY comfortable (another fear of ours going into this). My wife would like these a little higher, but that is more our issue as we set the bar top at 42". We simply sacrificed not having arms on the stools, but you can NOT beat the price for the quality you get. I highly recommend these for a casual bar setting."..."  Read more

I wanted to buy nice bar stools without breaking the bank. These looked good online and the price was definitely right. Very classy looking. Easy to assemble. Only two problems: they don't self-center. I plan to rig a small elastic (bungy-type) under the seat to help it center itself. Don't know if that will work or not. It's really no biggie. Just a personal preference. Also, a few of the weave pieces on the backs have come loose. I simply reposition them (very easy but a hassle). My plan is to run a bead of hot glue along the edge and that problem will be solved. If you want a nice bar stool without spending your entire budget, you should buy these. Oh yes, there is a similar bar stool in this price range that has a black faux leather padded back. While the stools seats are exactly the size, the positioning of the black padded back takes up nearly one quarter of the seat surface. I bought one to see (before buying 6 of them). It was not returnable so I ended up taking the back off completely and using that one behind the bar. The Sumatra one is perfectly comfortable and the back supports. My guests think I spent a fortune on these bar stools. I'm sure not going to tell them I didn't!! Buy them!"..."  Read more

These barstools are beautiful, we've gotten nothing but compliments on the barstools and we have been raving about Wayfair to everyone. I had been looking for barstools for our new home and was having a tough time findind the look I wanted (leather back and seat) and matching the color of our cabinetry. We found 2 different websites which offered similar barstools but the great reviews about Wayfair.com and 15% off really sold us.
