The quality is excellent, the wood finish matched perfectly and since the men in my family are built like "line backers" the stools are very very strong!! Assemble was fine on the bar stools with the back but the backless stools had more screws than the bigger stools. My husband said quality was more important than assembly. The rep that handled our order was wonderful and so concerned that they were short one stool and made sure that everything was in place at the end. I wanted something sturdy, simple, and that was already assembled . . . these stools fit what I needed perfectly. I replaced existing stools that continuously became wobbly even after tightening the screws. I don't believe I will have that issue with these stools. I love the swivel feature. these barstools came via UPS ground service and all I did was lift them out of the box. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED which is a big plus if you do not have a strapping man/woman to help you lift, turn and put it all together. i was impressed with the solidness of the frames and the overall appearance. i am sitting on one right now to write this review and they are the perfect height for my counter, very comfortable top cushion and nice foot rest bar. the picture is a great representation of color and the black is a deep dark black and not a grey/black like some other companies try to pass off. the distressing is a bit cheesy but you don't really see it."..."  Read more
