Bought these bar stools for a bar I just built for my basement. After going to various stores with floor models I discovered just how pricey bar stools can be. After doing a bit of online shopping I came across these stools that go well with my wood heavy basement bar decor. The price of five of these stools was about the same as one bar stool of similar style in the stores. I was skeptical as to the quality because of the cheap price but once I assembled them they are sturdy and have a decent mass to them much to my surprise even. The bar stools were a good value for the price. The directions were not very good but eventually we got them together. The backs a shorter than I thought and the padded seat does not have a lot of padding. I compared many bar stools and needed 5 so I was very price conscious. Again good value for the price. They are a little bit hard to swivel, but that doesn't really bother me too much (why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). They overall are beautiful, sturdy and look great in our kitchen. I was looking for an attractive, inexpensive stool with no arms and a swivel. This fits the bill perfectly IF you can get all four legs to fit into the seat bottom at once. I ordered 3 stools and had the same problem with all 3. The trick was to VERY loosely assemble the cross piece that holds two legs together. The leg pegs are just not cut precisely at the correct angle. I would recommend this chair if you are looking for a decent inexpensive swivel bar stool. One box arrived totally beaten up and the washers were scattered on my front porch. The packing seemed too flimsy for the weight of the chair."..."  Read more
