Barstools

We needed 4 counter height stools. We originally ordered one stool of another model to make sure we liked it before we ordered the other 3. We loved it but Wayfair didnt have any more in stock! So this stool was our second choice. We thought that it was adjustable to be either a counter height stool or a bar stool. We have them adjusted to the lowest height and it is OK. I would prefer it to be slightly lower. All in all, we like the stools. The are good looking and the seat is comfortable. The swivel is great. Like most people I bought one first to check it out, then bought three more. They are not that difficult to put together, but with allen wrenches everything takes a bit longer and power tools wouldn't work as well in this case anyway. They are larger than they appear - the cushion seems to be at least 16" in diameter, but I have not measured it. This extra size makes it feel oh-so-comfy. We bought these to be used at a breakfast bar opposite the kitchen island. When not in use they tuck neatly under the counter so don't really take up that much room. We had thought about getting stools with backs on them, but were glad we didn't since swiveling would cause the back to smash into the counter and we are the kind of people who really like to swivel. I am pretty sure it would be hard to beat these stools in the comfort category. Good height for average size people to just "slide on". The little footies are covered with a plastic coating so they won't scratch wood floors, but just in case we added some of those little sticky pads anyway. I love the stools, the seat cover is gorgeous and the swivel works great and my young teenage son easily put the together. [...] The only thing.... the stools are GIANT in diameter. I used to have four stools at my counter so I bought four of these and only three can fit comfortable. I am keeping the fourth to pull up on the other side of the counter as needed, but I really only should have purchased three stools to fit my space. I looked at a thousand stools. These barstools did not disappoint! They are exactly what I needed. We renovated our kitchen and I'm replacing our large Windsor bar stools with these little stools that slide under the counter, out of the way. The black color and turned legs match my dining room table and kitchen island legs perfectly. Someone came to buy our old bar stools and fell in love with our new ones! Everyone loves them. (One of my friends thinks they would make nice little side tables too.) They are perfectly comfortable. My husband knows his way around tools and put them together in 5 minutes.
