After doing a bit of online shopping I came across these stools that go well with my wood heavy basement bar decor. We purchased two of the 30 inch Carol custom stools and two "non-cushion" Aloha barstools for our 43 inch tall kitchen bar to try and cut down the overall cost (by not buying 4 of these more expensive stools). We purchased the 30 inch stool and found the height to be much better than the 29 inch Aloha stools we purchased. We've had the stools for approximately 2.5 months and we wished we would have paid the extra money to buy 4 of the Carol stools.They look great, and are far more comfortable with the cushion and back rest on them. There are 4 of us in our family and we often race to the bar to get the "good stool" (Carol stool) first. That kind of says it all![...] We discovered that we have additional room for more barstools and will definitely be purchasing the Carol stools. The two counter stools I ordered came very well packaged and free of any visible defects (which is not often the case from furniture made overseas). The materials used in the stools are all high quality. I like the traditonal styling of the stools blended with the touches of contempory design. The only complaint I have is that there is a little side--to-side wobble in the stools when you sit in them. While the construction of the stools seems quite good, it could be tightened up a bit to give the stools a more solid feel."..." Read more
