Bars & Bar Sets

Just had this delivered and I set it up pretty quickly. Only negative thing I can say is it could be a little bigger (longer return). For the price, you can't go wrong. Putting it together was easy, but the large bar top really doesn't have good directions or guides for the screws like the small bar top does. You need to look at the pictures on-line very close and you will understand how it works. Buy a couple knobs for the drawer and cabinet doors and you will be all set to serve up your first drink. Can't beat it for the money. I looked at MANY too! [...] Instructions are fair (look at on-line pictures if you have issues). Should not take you too long to set up. I bought a couple extra corner bracket for the large top just for extra strength (brackets in package would be fine I guess, just my preference). Side bar needs to be lined up to make a good fit. Don't screw everything in first without lining up the bar tops. It will line up close, but not be exactly perfect. Does not come assembled. The top needs to be attached. Easy to assemble. Not as heavy as I thought - may need rubber feet to stop sliding on a hard floor. Quality is good however, the aluminium sink/ice holder is VERY thin. The garnish trays have small holes in the bottom from the manufacturing process so must be lined or have an insert. Would recommend this for a home bar - cherry wood goes well with two-tone tan and blue walls in the house. The side bar is not trivia to attach if done correctly. I recommend assembling and levelling the main bar, levelling the side attachment, loosely attach the two bar tops, then attach the side bar top to the bar base, then tighten everything."..."  Read more

I purchased this bar as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who wanted something to use when entertaining. It has a lot of storage and counter space since it is two-tiered. The color is a very dark brown and the finish is rich. The reason I did not give the bar 5 stars is: - The glass holder rows are different widths, and one row is almost too wide to hold anything except large glasses (which we don't have a lot of) - when attaching the top tier to the main bar unit, you are given some cheap light brown plastic plugs to cover the holes where the large screws appear. They don't stay plugged in and they are not the same color as the bar's finish, which is disappointing. I bought this bar for my sunroom, and I love it as well as everyone else that sees it. Its very well constructed and the finish is a beautiful dark cherry. All the cabinets can be locked, comes with 4 keys. It's very heavy, I had it stored in my garage until my sunroom was finished, so you'll need at least two people to put together, and it would be a good idea to know before hand where you want it. My only problems with it is there are no covers on the accessory trays, so it seems everything falls into them and the fact it doesn't come with any bar stools. The advertising is very misleading, because it states bar set, I was under the impression that it came with two stools. Guess I didn't see the small print. It came in 3 boxes and set in my garage for 2 months, of course I was a little frustrated 2 days before the superbowl party, no matching stools, but everyone did love the bar."..."  Read more
