My wine console arrived on time and in perfect condition. I needed to have it fit in a very tight area and the specifications listed were exact. It did arrive without a set of keys for the doors, but one phone call to Wayfair had a new set delivered to me in a matter of days. This is a beautiful bar I bought for my husband for Christmas. It is a true black. There is a mirror on the top panel that opens up, as well as one one the back, and lighted frosted glass on the bottom. The lights turn on automatically when you open the top -- it really showcases your bottles and stemware. There are two adjustable 6-bottle wine racks in the cabinet below which is handy for having wines out of the wine cellar at room temperature ready to drink. Also room to store some appetizer plates, serving pieces, decanters or misc bar ware. The top portion of the bar holds 6 stem glasses in the rack, provided the base of the glass is not too wide. Most of our good red wine glasses have a base too large to fit. White wine or martini glasses should fit fine. My husband is storing his alcohol, wine opener, beverage napkins, and martini shaker there. My husband loves it -- it fits nice in a corner or small space and closes up easily to fit in most decors (traditional, modern or transitional). He says it's one of the best presents he's received (and he gets lots of electronics!). Overall it's a beautiful bar with just a few minor flaws. I read all of the comments for this bar and thought I would add my own. We purchased our hidden wine bar locally, so I cant comment on some of the statements of delivery. However, my wife and searched for over a year for a wine barwine cabinet before we found this one. We were not only excited about the design and size, but it is somewhat a Queen Anne style, which fits all of our other furniture. It has sufficient room for all of our spirits, plus the wine we will be drinking in the next couple of weeks. (I keep my stockpile in the basement). It is a solid, well designed, piece of furniture. The locks will keep the little kids out, but not the big kids. That is not a problem in our house, they are all grown and gone. One of the strong points of this wine bar is the fact that you can close it up, and it becomes an attractive, cherry finished cabinet."..."  Read more

This bar is very functional and attractive. It is logically organized and makes good use of space. It is "distressed" and the listing makes that point repeatedly. I still would have preferred a few more views. The only negatives, and they are minor, are that one of the side doors had a stiff lock. Both side cabinet doors lock (as does the center door). The side cabinet locks have very little clearance for the key, consequently when we were trying to open the stiff lock on the left cabinet we managed to lightly scrape the wood. It was easy to conceal with touch-up marker. That being said, this is a wonderful, useful piece. We are enjoying having everything in it's place--and a place for everything."..."  Read more
