I was really impressed when the shipment came. The comments/reviews provided by the customers who bought the different home bars I was looking at really helped me made my selection. I was pleased with my decision. The bar I chose had a lot of hardware and pieces to put together as I had read in the reviews so it was no surprise. A few tweaks in the alignment of the wine glass shelves and the bar looked great when it was done. A couple of knicks but something I can live with. This is a beautiful bar I bought for my husband for Christmas. It is a true black. There is a mirror on the top panel that opens up, as well as one one the back, and lighted frosted glass on the bottom. The lights turn on automatically when you open the top -- it really showcases your bottles and stemware. There are two adjustable 6-bottle wine racks in the cabinet below which is handy for having wines out of the wine cellar at room temperature ready to drink. Also room to store some appetizer plates, serving pieces, decanters or misc bar ware. The top portion of the bar holds 6 stem glasses in the rack, provided the base of the glass is not too wide. Most of our good red wine glasses have a base too large to fit. White wine or martini glasses should fit fine. My husband is storing his alcohol, wine opener, beverage napkins, and martini shaker there. My husband loves it -- it fits nice in a corner or small space and closes up easily to fit in most decors (traditional, modern or transitional). He says it's one of the best presents he's received (and he gets lots of electronics!). Overall it's a beautiful bar with just a few minor flaws. This bar is superb for the price. My husband and I were looking for a bar for our family room for months. Price was a factor as well as quality. We didn't want to break the bank, but wanted something fairly stylish and of good value. Our style is more contemporary and this bar really fits into our home well. It was fairly easy to put together as my husband did it in two hours or so and he's not the tooltime guy. This was a really good purchase. So glad we found it. The only con is that once you add liquor and glasses to the unit, it gets a bit too heavy to swing open and i'm nervous that the pressure will eventually break the swing doors."..."  Read more
