Looking good, so far. from malden, MA on 05/05/2015 – Verified Buyer
First, a correction to someone else's post: this IS pneumatic. A pneumatic tube provides lift-assist (like hatchback lifts on a car) when you raise the desk --- it goes up almost on its own. You use your body weight, leaning on the desk, to lower it. You trigger the raise/lower action via a manual toggle. So, while this isn't a fully automatic (e.g. electric) desk, the up/down adjustments are very easy; with little or no lifting at all. Assembly was OK; much like Ikea-type stuff. All tools (allen wrench, phillips driver) are included. Some of the parts (eg mousetray) seem to be made for a variety of desks, such that on *this* desk, there were a few parts left over. It's a little disconcerting to finish assembly and have parts left over, but they were truly extra pieces that had nothing to do with installing on this desk. Pros: Easy adjustments. Seems sturdy and well-made. Cons: Finish is woodgrain vinyl (?) over particleboard.I don't know how that will hold up. Assembly instructions could be better; I'd give them a solid B; I was hoping for an A.

good for small spaces but has a design flaw from Franklin, ME on 03/24/2015 – Verified Buyer
We purchased one of these to test, thinking we might buy 8 of them for our new office. For the price you can't seem to beat the functionality of the up and down, key board rest etc. And for plastic "wood" it looks better than we expected too. But the plastic inserts, in the legs where it goes up and down, that are supposed to help "hold it" once you pick your height, broke almost immediately. We have written to the manufacturer to try and get replacements but have not heard back at this time. If we hear back and can come up with a better solution for this design flaw we may buy more.

Great value, fast shipping from Alpharetta, GA on 05/07/2012 – Verified Buyer
I spent a couple of hours on line researching options for standing/sitting desk. This one by far was the best value I could find and Wayfair had the best price. They had it in stock, so I had the product with in 2 days of ordering. I am new to standing while working, but I like it. Adjusting to sitting is fairly easy as well as adjusting back to standing. An electronic table would be easier but they cost more than twice the amount. The quality and look of the product is very good. Assembly is fairly straight forward, but it took me about 90 minutes. My only slight negative is that at my height 5'11" the table could be a couple inches higher for optimum efficiency. The table surface height is fine it is the keyboard height that I would prefer slightly higher. The keyboard table is adjustable and I actually have it set at an inch higher than the table when standing, then I adjust it to a couple inches lower than the table while sitting. It works fine at both heights, it just takes an extra few seconds of knob turning. All and all I am please with my purchase and would purchase again based on the price for the quality and functionality that it provides.

Just what I was looking for. from Philadelphia,PA on 12/28/2011
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. I use this desk at work to help ease my chronic back pain that I get from prolonged sitting. The ease of adjustment is great..it only takes a few seconds to to move it from a normal seated position to a standing posiition. My only complaint is that even with the 3 castor wheeels, the height of the keyboard is still too low for me (at 59 tall). However, while seated, the keyboard is at a perfect height when standing though, I need to palce the keybord on top of the desktop in order to comfortably type, All in all, I love this product and will be ordering another for my home office.

Worked well enough that I bought another from Roanoke, VA on 05/25/2009 – Verified Buyer
I now have two offices, and after having bought one of these for my first office, didn't hesitate for my second. I prefer to stand while working, and this allows me to do so, but if I really need to sit down it's easy to lower it. NOTE: I don't have a printer on it, I put the monitor on the top level and then it's at the perfect level for my eyes and let's me keep my head level. Also, my laptop doesn't fit in the docking station where the computer is supposed to fit. This is a minor annoyance, but I tthink the lower stand could be redesigned in light of the proliferation of laptops. Also, I highly recommend a gel mat to stand on. Finally, it's been kind of a kick that this thing is a real conversation piece.

Good design and well built from Wash DC on 02/15/2010
I use this product to alternate between sitting and standing at my computer, making it possible to keep good posture all day and avoid problems associated with long periods of sittng at a computer. The table rises almost efortlessly. it takes about 30 seconds to lower it or raise it , and a little effort.
