I've never owned a pizza pan before and had been baking pizzas on a baking sheet. I use pre-baked pizza crusts and I know you can cook the pizza right on the oven rack, but it's so hard to get the pizza out of the oven. Hence, the baking sheet. But I wanted a crispier pizza, so I thought I'd check out this Frieling pizza pan. The holes in the center of the pan allowed heat to get to the bottom of the pizza and keep the crust from getting too soggy. My family got a nice crispy thin crust pizza! And the pizza came off the pan so easily because it's non-stick. I think this would be great for baking frozen pizzas in the oven, too. Be careful when handling or washing (hand wash only) because the pan does scratch easily. My husband washed it and when I put it away after drying, I noticed a scratch mark on the surface.
