Maker does NOT recommend it for vegies.. I was looking forward to processing my relish and chutney recipes; only to find the manufacturer specifically does not recommend it for vegetables at all. Apparently it is great for fruit; but the caviat should have been in the product description........ |

Can with Ease Use like traditional water bath canning, for high-acid and high-sugar foods like pickles and jams, but with much less water. Heats up faster, so you don't have to spend all day in a steamy kitchen with big vats of boiling water. Reviewed on behalf of Wayfairs. |

The steam canner is the only way to can. makes canning so fast Demonstrated to my friends had to order 4 more there just great. |

Worked Perfectly Much better than hot-water-bath canning. I have a glass-top stove and old canner took forever to heat all that water. I was finished in half the time with all jars sealing within 2 minutes. Just used the same timing a before but added 5 minutes to be sure. |
