I just got this cage for my parrotlet. It was super easy to assemble and I love the platinum color. The 18" x 20" size and 1/2" bar spacing is perfect for birds up to small conure size.

My 8 year old cockatiel was so excited about his new townhome that he screamed, "holler holler", instead of hallelujah. This cage seems to made for a bit bigger bird, so the only thing I need to get or make is a rope ladder so he can hoist himself over the top rail to get to the penthouse. Its about an extra inch that he can't reach. .OMG and no more seeds fallin out of the cage and very easy to clean.

My cockatiel, Sari, has beautiful and spacious surroundings witrh her Nina Playtop Bird Cage. Several bars were bent and one of the door locks was frozen. Some tugging and bending took care of the bars passably well and a good dose of WD40 and pliers redeemed the lock. I chose the red, which is more of a burgundy, because it goes so well with other pieces of furniture in the room. I like the size, weight, and quality of this product and would certainly recommend it to others. The play area on top gives Sari a good view of two rooms - and she seems to enjoy being able to survey the world from that perch. I am very happy with my purchase.

The box was delivered within the expected time period. There was some damage to it - a couple of holes on one side - and three of the panels had some bent bars. Because of its size and weight it would have been very difficult for me to send it back but the damage wasnt enough to warrant that. Maybe if there were some stouter pieces of cardboard separating the panels it might arrive in better condition.

I have a parrotlet that is scared to death of cages that creak or aren't very sturdy. That is not the case with this cage- She has never been happier. This cage has very sturdy construction and is easy to clean, put together, and maintain. My parrotlet loves the playtop and will sit up there for 1.5+ hrs before needing attention. Also, there is plenty of room to hang toys from the top of the cage and around the playtop to keep her entertained. Couldn't be happier.

just the right size for my quaker parrot. i have had the cage for a week and find that it is sturdy and easy to clean - the playtop is removable so i can use it in other places-it was easy to assemble and best of all my parrot is happy in his new luxurious home....thank you.

I HAVE THE RUBY COLOR, WHICH IS GORGEOUS. NOT LIPSTICK RED, THANK GOODNESS! IT IS A DEEP RED/BURGUNDY WHICH I LOVE. VERY STURDY AND EASY TO CLEAN...YEA! WE ARE ONLY USING PART OF THE CAGE, AS IT'S FOR A CANARY, SO NO REVIEW HERE REGARDING THE PLAYTOP, SEED CUPS, CASTORS OR SEED GUARDS WHICH ARE ALL IN OUR ATTIC NOW. I HAVE A SHALLOW FEEDING PAN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CAGE AND USE AN UPSIDE DOWN DRINKING CONTAINER AT THE END OF ONE OF THE PERCHES. OH...NOT USING THE PERCH THAT CAME WITH THE CAGE EITHER...TOO BIG FOR MY LITTLE BIRD, BUT IT'S QUALITY! I THOUGHT THE CAGE AND STAND WOULD BE SEPARATE, AND WE HAVE A NICE LOW ANTIQUE WASHSTAND FOR THE CAGE. SO...WE ARE USING THE CAGE W/ THE LEGS ON TOP OF THE WASHSTAND (WITHOUT THE CASTORS), AND THE AREA UNDER THE CAGE IS PERFECT TO STORE NEWSPAPERS TO USE CONVENIENTLY FOR THE CAGE.

Toby and JJ love their new cage and playtop. Toby & JJ are young, acclimating to our home, and not hand trained. We remove the playtop, put it on a dining room chair so they can reach it from the cage.Very easy to put together [...]. I thought about requesting new pieces for the bent ones since we paid so much for the cage, but the bent pieces haven't caused any serious consequences. We like the heavy duty locks on the doors, the large front door and the four small doors are convenient to replace food/water. The removable tray makes it easy to clean and the bottom shelf is useful to store supplies. The removable tray is heavy and my 7 year old has trouble cleaning by himself. The perch and food/water bowls are nice. Wish they would have included two perches. There is lots of space to put various toys.
