I use this case for an Epson Powerlite Presenter projector, which is a larger unit with built-in DVD player. It fits perfectly in this case by itself when the divider is removed. There is a few inches of room on top for cables, and the end pockets are perfect for the remote control. The padding is fairly substantial and the build quality seems good. My only real complaint is that the top flap which covers the main interior compartment does not have any "wings" or other method to cover the side edges (between the top and the left and right ends), so I'd be wary using the case in moderate to heavy rain. After taking my iMac 24 with me to an offsite recording session, I quickly realized that I needed something in which to transport and protect it. So I began doing research and found that there really weren't that many options that were both functional and affordable. Sure, I could spend almost $700 for a Pelican case, but that's not really in my budget right now since I'm not traveling very often or very far. But I still needed something and happened upon this Gator monitor case which they also claim will work for a 24" iMac. And sure enough it does - and does it very well! I travel local and across country for gigs and this case is perfect. I have a rack mount computer and Dennon dual disk player mounted below and my mixer, control head and video shelf in the upper section. Pro -- The TSA locks are great for travel and the case shell is sturdy to protect the equipment. Con -- Wish it had wheels, but you can buy a little folding hand truck which works. Also the rack rails on the top were a 1/4 of an inch off. It left a gap between the equipment so I fixed the rail. All I can say is, it bothered me."..."  Read more

After searching high and low - I was hopeful that this bag would address my needs to carry both my laptop, projector and all the related peripherals. I'd been disappointed by most everything else I'd seen in retail and online - so I took the leap. After two trips, call I can say is "no buyer's remorse here". The bag is durable, easy to pull and breakdown and there is more than enough room for everything I need. The detachable laptop bag is awesome for added flexibility so I can leave the projector behind for some meetings. I appreciate the understated look so it doesn't draw undue attention as well.
