I love this potting bench. It is a bit smaller than I expected but it turned out to be perfect for the narrow area I have for it. I am a little disappointed that it is not weather-proofed because it is a bit of a hassle to have to do it myself. I may let it weather for a season for that used look and then paint a protective coating on it. I live in Southern California and therefore I do not need it to be heavy (which it is not) but if you have inclement weather, it may not be heavy enough to withstand a storm.
Wood potting bench

I was very pleased with my purchase of this potting bench. The piece was simple to assemble, very sturdy once all the screws were tightened up, and just the right height for easy use. I chose to use an oil based semi transparent stain on the bench before putting outside, just to provide an extra degree of protection from the weather. Plus, where I plan on putting it, it will be getting wet a lot from the hose. All in all I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a great potting bench. I found similar potting benches at local stores and garden centers, which were twice the price, and not nearly as well made. Thanks Wayfair for making me a satisfied customer!
Cute but lightweight

I like the style of this bench but it is smaller than I thought it would be. Perhaps it is because the one I am replacing was twice the size. It is very light weight and I question how it will hold up even over the mild winters we have here in California. The directions state to keep it covered during harsh weather and I did not want to do that. The design concept is a bit funky:There is one bin inside with half of the removable top solid and the other half with holes in it. My first thought was that the soil could fall through the holes when I am potting plants but then there is no way to empty out the soil when it falls through. I do not think this is for a serious gardener. I will keep it since I paid someone to assemble it and I need it for my side yard but the one I am tossing took 17 years to start falling apart whereas I expect this one to last maybe two years if I am lucky.

Just finished assembling and this is really beautiful.
Fun addition to the garden.

I've had this item in my garden for a couple years now and it's still holding up well. Wood is lightweight and easy to assemble and move. Nice design for everyday gardening chores. The location of the hooks could be better, as you have to turn them sideways to be able to hang tools from them.
Potting and Storage Table

Has withstood the Florida sun and rain pretty well. The only thing i dont like is that it has openings to the left and water gets in the container portion. I resolved this by putting a wood on top to keep it sealed.
Love this Potting Bench

Loved the smell of the cedar when I opened the box. Easy to put together - I did it myself. The wood is not heavy but light. Used a coat of wood protectant on it before putting it into service. Love it!

It is exactly what I was looking for, easy to assemble, great looking. I did put on a heavy coat of Thompson's waterproofing since it sits outside. Very pleased with this purchase. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it.

The quality is great for the price. It was easy to put together and seems durable enough, provided it is covered or brought inside for harsher winter weather. The size is nice, too... Big enough to actually work on, but compact enough to not overwhelm my smallish deck. I had to use a drill (as opposed to just a screwdriver) to really tighten some of the screws. Overall, I'm very happy!

I really like this potting bench. I do plan on using it outside for just that but right now (I thought it was so cute) I put it in my kitchen. The only negative thing I could say is that the wood is very soft and dents very easily.
