Good looking stand, but sturdy enough?

Pros: - Looks good with relatively solid construction. - Allows for open or closed storage, both under the top glass shelf, and bottom wood shelf (just don't put on the back boards) - Plenty of space Cons: - Hidden wiring must be fed through the central pipe, making for awkward set ups. - TV mount is flimsier than others I've seen. - Slightly expensive for what it is. I was looking for a TV stand that had open shelving (apparently, most video game consoles suffer from underpowered heat management systems and air flow is key), a TV mount that would support a 55" TV, additional storage and not be completely metal and glass. This one fit the bill, and was on sale. Upon receipt, I appreciated how heavy and relatively sturdy the pieces were, despite being made of particle board. The construction was easy, however, I did not get all the parts (one of the bottom legs was missing it's plastic bottom, where the leg meets the ground; this meant that I would have to remove one of the others to balance the stand, and opted to put that leg on the backside, and remove the other backside leg's plastic piece, so that if it leaned, it would lean back, towards the wall). Mounting the TV was simple, though there's quite a bit more play once the TV is up on the stand than I would expect. I'm not sure if it will be a problem or not, but my last stand was pretty rock solid - almost no movement at all. I can't imagine the TV staying up on the stand in a medium sized earthquake or if bumped pretty hard. You are also able to use the stand without the mount (it comes completely out), so this may be a moot point for you. Mounted, however, I'm able to put a sound bar on top of the glass shelf, under the TV, saving the shelf under the glass for game consoles, A/V receivers, etc. The bottom shelves are big enough to put wire/plastic bins bought at, say, Target into them, turning them into drawers basically. There's A LOT of space in the stand, and the height and depth of both shelves is substantial. Running wires through the central post is a bit of a pain, and again, if you aren't using the mount, it would be much easier. Additionally, it doesn't clean up the look too much, so it's not REALLY worth the effort. The look and finish is pretty good - certainly not premium, but also does not look out of place. I would never have bought this at full price, and even on sale, I feel I probably paid slightly more than the value I'm getting, especially with as much sway as there is in the TV mount. I took off one star for the quality of the TV mount, but am generally happy with the purchase otherwise. It would be great to get another end cap for the back legs, but that is a relatively minor part that's missing, and that my other complaints are pretty minor as well.

TV can rotate on silver pole, fit my 49" LG TV well. Many mounting screws are included. Stand can also be built without the silver pole so that the TV sits on the stand. Only complaint is that the back is not solid wood, it's a heavy paper panel. Good quality for the money and I am very happy with it.

Its even better in person. I love this pc, it is a great addition to my living room. And it was super easy to build, I didn't even know what a screw driver was and I did it all by my self, until the part where it came to mounting the tv. Other than that, it is super easy to assemble and its worth every penny.
Fast delivery, good quality, easy set up!

This purchase was a good experience for us! It arrived in less than two days and was very easy to set up. We had to add a wood shim to make our tv hang off from the table but that was no big deal. I think our tv is a unique size. We are very happy!

Love it, worth the price, not too difficult to assemble
Not enough information

Love the the look, price, and quality--I would give these 5 stars. Set up was a lot easier than reviews made it seem, took 1.5 hours. Reason for 3 tar rating is that the product description details are incomplete. The place where we could attach the bracket to our 60 inch TV were set wider than the frame for the mount. Nowhere in the product specifications did it provide this width. We had to think creatively and add to the mount to make the TV hangattach properly.

Easy to assemble, but finish can scratch and chip easily as you set up your electronics on the shelving. Overall, looks very nice, but I don't imagine it will hold up if you pack up and move.
Looks great and built solid
