BEAUTIFUL, Sturdy but
Amber from Greenville, SC– Verified Buyer
Okay, so the first thing about this dresser is that it is EXTREMELY HEAVY, had to get it off the truck then riley-poly it down the sidewalk by flipping it over over and over until it got to the front stairs. Got it inside and unpacked it. Paid the best buy delivery guys who brought the dryer an extra $20 to carry it upstairs to the bedroom.
The dresser is sturdy and had a 5th leg on the inside so that it can support weight. It is also supposed to be anti-tip which is nice and has a mechanism to prevent tipping (i think). It is alwo GREAT that is is long but not very deep so it does not seem as cumbersome but holds a lot, making it easier to maximize space in the bedroom.
There is small variation in the color of the wood making it look extremely natural and organic, not very uniform and synthetic which I love. The color is gorgeous, even nicer than the matching bed because it has darker warmer undertones rather than the yellow of the bed.
The outside is flawlessly beautiful, some say the wood is soft but I haven't had any scratches yet and plan to be careful with the surface. The inside drawers are somewhat poorly finished on the bottom but this is not visible unless you take the drawers out (avoid if you can they're difficult to go back in).
It was still too heavy so we took the drawers out before having it taken upstairs. Drawers are removed by pushing down a black plastic latch on the track inside and can be tedious, better with two people. *****If you take out the drawers remember to take note of where they came from!!!! All drawers are not the same and have to go into specific places. But in case you take them out and don't remember (like I did) drawers with more overhand on the right must go on the right side and ones with more wood overhang on the left are on the left, ect. It gets 4 stars because of how difficult it was to get the drawers in and out and the small cheap woodwork done on the inside of the drawers where slabs of wood don't match up, but that is very minor. Love it every time I look at it
