The bunk beds are really great quality and sturdy, even better than I expected. The guardrails on the top bunk are a good height when used with a standard mattress (no pillow-top, as specified in the warnings). We shopped around a lot before ordering this set, both online and in local stores, and I feel that we got a great value based on everything we looked at. This set was less than half the cost of some models of comparable quality that we looked at in stores, plus we didn't have to pay for delivery! Assembly was straightforward and simple, but it does require two adults. It probably took about two hours, including the time it took to unbox everything. The only thing you need is a screwdriver. I would add one note to the instructions - be sure to determine the placement of the partial guardrail before fastening down the slat kit. The instructions say to install the slats first, but the leg of the shorter guardrail needs to fit in between the slats. We had to unfasten it and readjust it. The drawers are wonderful and add a lot of storage! They are the full depth of the bed and roll independently which makes them easy to access (we have wood floors, I'm not sure how easy they'd be to roll on thick carpet). Again, the quality is better than I expected. The floor of the drawers is somewhat thin, but it does seem like it will hold up well as long as it is used for reasonable purposes (clothes, blankets, or small toys, not children sitting in them!). Delivery was on time but several of the six boxes were pretty banged up. Three pieces were damaged (not the fault of the manufacturer), but the customer service representative was extremely helpful. All I had to do was call the number given on the box (the manufacturer, not Wayfair), verify my order information, and tell her what pieces I needed. They shipped the replacement pieces right away. It was a bit of an inconvenience to have to wait another week to be able to complete the assembly, but given the value and the quality, I wouldn't hesitate to order again or recommend the company to anyone.

first we ordered this bed with a discount, so it was a really good deal! The bed frame was really easy to put together and is solid. The bed slats are poorly made as they are only screwed in 3 places on the center support bar and when I moved them onto the bedframe the screws fell out and the center support fell to the floor. My husband screwed each slat to the center support so now it is solid. On the bottom bunk, the center support for the slats are predrilled on the wrong side of the wood, so again my husband had to drill holes on the opposite side and then screw each slat to the center support. When assembling the bed, one of the legs would not rest on the lower frame. It was up 12 inch while the other 3 legs were solidly sitting on the lower frame. So again my husband had to drill up the leg a deeper hole for the support screw and then it lowered down. The color is perfect as it matches the other furniture in the room. The lower drawers are HUGE and we had to put a mat under the bed to make the drawers easier to slide on the carpet. While it might sound like I regret buying this bed i do not as it is beautiful and both my children love it. After minor adjustments made, it is a solid purchase!
Great Quality & Stable Bunkbed

We were looking for a well made all wood (not particle board or pressed wood) bunkbed for our girls with under bed storage. We wanted a bed with good slat support and tha had a built in ladder and that could be configured so the ladder could be placed on either side and on either end of the bed. This is a great bed that met our needs. Pros: The bed arrived well packaged and only the head boards needed two people to bring it in the house. The other packaged parts could easily be carried by one person. Assembly was easier than I anticipated and can be done by one person. The design allows for tight fitting junctions and for dissassembly without fear breaking the bed, too. The wood and finish are hard and resistant to dents and scratches. The under bed drawers are deep Cons: Drawers are not in tracks or guides so when we move the bed, we have to adjust drawers back into place (minor con). The draweres roll in & out via good quality rollers on the bottom of the drawers themselves.
Nice furniture but replacing sheets is difficult.

I got this for my son and I. We live in a small condo of 760 SF and I wanted to save space. Aside from being a pain to have to make both beds every day the furniture looks outstanding. I did have to modify the upper bed replacing the slats which would not hold a heavier mattress (I have a black beautyrest on top). My carpenter replace them for 2x6 poplar to provide steady support.
Heavy wood - very easy to assemble

Mom and daughter assembled this and only needed Dad to help lift the top bunk onto the bottom. 4 stars because as with most assembled furniture the structure has a little wiggle in it, but not much. Also the antique walnut does have a red tone to it, which I was not expecting. But my boys love it and I do too!
Great bunk bed

Excellent quality bunk bed. It arrived in 6 separate boxes. Boxes are heavy and definitely were thrown around by UPS drivers. Some parts arrived completely damaged, beyond use, but manufacturer of this bed promptly sent us replacement parts.
great bunk beds

Easy to put together. A little challenging to secure bottom of ladder to bed frame. My kids love it.

Good bang for your buck! Great quality and easy assembly. I also bought the drawers for underneath the bunks and was happy I did. The trundle is another great option.
Very happy with this bunk bed.
