My plumber said this plumbing kit had well made parts and was easy to install. It does not include a necessary part called a “slip joint extension tube” which I had to order separately (I am lucky that Wayfair had it also) which is what this review is for. All pieces had matching finishes which I was concerned about since one was called satin brass and the other was called brushed brass. I had been in contact with the manufacturer (Kingston Brass) who said the 2 finishes were the same. Funny thing is, my faucet is also from that company and the finish, called brushed brass is a different color. This plumbing kit and extension are below the open vanity so even though you see it all, the color difference from the faucet isn’t obvious to anyone except me. Exactly what we needed to replace the chea plastic P-Trap my builder installed on our beautiful open vanity. We purchased the particiluar vanity that we did because of the open plumbing underneath and to give a different look in one area of our home, but we didn't realize we would need to tell our builder not to use white PVC pipe underneath of it which you would think is obvious. This 3-piece toilet supply kit from Kingston Brass provides all the necessary parts in the water flow process of your bathroom toilet. The set includes a single cross IPS Inlet COMP Outlet angle stop, a 20" flat closet supply line, and a 0.5" IPS traditional flange. Each of these parts is made from brass.

We ended up just using the knob and escutcheon - the rigid tubing would not do the trick with how the a toilet was installed, we connected the knob to the flexible supply line tubing. The materials are high quality - heavy, substantial feeling. Not cheapie plastic. Real porcelain indicator plug for the knob. Straightforward install and no leaks at all. Unfortunately, the ORB finish is superficial and quite fragile - it is not powder coated or an alloy, it is just paint. It looks very pretty, but it was worn off in spite of trying to be gentle when installing. I got some Rustoleum Metallic Accents paint in Rich Brown (Classic Bronze was too light) to touch up the scratches - it is a near perfect match for the ORB finish. This is not a highly visible fixture, so the touch up paint will work well enough. Lessons learned I recommend wrapping the nut in a soft towel then putting the pliers or wrench over the towel to tighten the connection. Also, the escutcheon does not have holes in which to screw it onto the wall so it does not float around. We used liquid nail on the back to affix it to the wall. I am glad we found a knob that matches the rest of the fixtures - the standard silver-toned know would not have looked good. I would just use more care when installing it I could do it over.
