Armoires

I really love my armoire. It looks very nice in my bedroom. The lighting in the online picture doesn't truly depict how the armoire looks in my bedroom due to a lighting difference. I'm not sure how many people have "showroom" lighting in their bedrooms. Perhaps it would have been better to take the picture in natural light. The armoire does not look as grainy as I thought it would based on the picture, and the wood is still rich but just not as dark (more brown than the black). The three drawers work perfectly for under garments and socks. I know that this piece is quite versatile and can work in just about any room of the home to add a touch of flair & elegance. I use the armoire for hanging shirts. There's ample room to hang 20-30 button down shirts, sort of touching each other. The pewter pulls are simple and elegant as well. Perfect for my bedroom office, just as advertised. Solid comes without the feet mounted. With one of those TV furniture movers we picked it up mounted the screw on feet and moved it into the bedroom. Looks nice not cheap, finish is nice lots of wood and very heavy. Only thing I am going to add is a slide out tray for the CPU to make it easier to install the cables. Other than that they thought of everything. I was worried that something this big would be an issue in transportation. We are in Florida the armoire came from Pennsylvania. It was Triple packed with cardboard on a very heavy cardboard pallet. Took me about ½ hour with a raiser knife to cut the heavy cardboard and packing material off the armoire. 100% satisfied with the Nevis Espresso Armoire; ordered 4 pieces for my bedroom including the 5 drawer chest and bed, all of the Nevis Espresso line. The finish is clean, the construction is rock solid (all real wood), and it looks amazing. Even the packing was done with care; delivered fully assembled to my apartment in Manhattan without a scratch! that�s almost impossible... But, be aware how big and heavy this thing is, 3rd floor walk-up wasn't much fun even with the help of movers. Recommend the piece to anyone looking for good design, quality craftsmanship and long lasting durability. NOTE: it doesn't have enough clearance inside for hanging dress shirts because of the TV shelf inside. You would need about 6" more for shirts or a jacket to hang. Pants single folded on a hanger fit just fine. Purchase the other armoire without the drawers on the bottom to fit shirts."..."  Read more

True white glove delivery. Only issue was that no instructions were provided for removal of drawers, and the inside wood board separating the top two drawers came apart when the delivery person was bolting the top to the bottom section of the armoire. After contacting the manufacturer for the instructions my husband was able to remove the drawers and re-staple back the board."..."  Read more
