Just Okay

This couch makes a better conversation piece than anything because of the very unique (and awesome) color. However, it's not super comfortable for long periods of sitting. Quality is not average, I did expect it to be built slightly better considering the price.

Product Review

Dreadful couch. Good: Fabric cleans easily. Bad: Everything else. Cushions collapsed after 2 short weeks and did not revive. Got even flatter. Left side cushion shrank on the side and now one cushion is 4" shorter than the other. The fabric lining the couch (where cushions sit) is made of a horsehair-like lining (not smooth) and the velvet upholstery can't slide; therefore, cushions get shortened, and they are immovable once they're stuck on that horsehair lining. The back cushions have bowed. How did that happen? Nobody even sits on them! Turning them around does not help. Buttons are superficially sewn on. If you rub against one, it will pop off. I already have holes where the button hangs by a little thread. For the expense, it seemed like I was getting a great couch. This is a >$300 couch. Don't waste your time. It's just my husband and I – both weighing less than 140 lbs each! We watch TV on it once a night. Because Armen has a 1 yr warranty, we called them. They refuse to replace the cushions and told us we are able to buy new ones to replace their inferior product. Duh. Hate to tell you what that would cost. It's too bad because Armen's products are quite stunning. Would never trust ANY of their products, ever. It's the Emperor's New Clothes, people! Nothing there. I would only buy a new Armen sofa if the doctor gave me 4 weeks to live – because after that, it falls apart and I'd still have to live with it!
