“The 22" depth dimension is critical and I wanted to be sure from the extreme back to the front it really is 22 inches. If you put it against the wall, would the legs or the head back "hit" first?” asked by Melody

"Hi Melody, This chair's seat depth is actually 20", so 2" of that is the back of the chair. As for the back legs, they would line up with the back top of the chair, so both would go up against the wall at the same time."

So far, everyone claims it is my most comfortable chair. It gives a lot of firm support. This replaces a chair I had ordered from Pottery Barn that cost 3 times as much, and was going to take 7 weeks to be delivered! I am very happy with this chair and with Wayfair. Service Review Chair came 4 days after placing the order! It was well packed, undamaged, and the box was sitting on my doorstep when I returned home, 3 days earlier than expected. Was this helpful?
