Cat love it !
S. Diehl from PA
We have 2 cats and 3 kittens ( long story, all rescues). All the catskittens LOVE these cat trees. We now have 3 Armarkat trees in different rooms of the house. Fast delivery, very easy to assemble, durable. We purchased our first of the 3 trees about 2 years ago (this same tree) and it has held up great. Of course your going to have some normal wear and tear, this is to be expected, especially if you have multiple cats that are not declawed like I do. As other's have said, you do need to go back and tighten the bolts on these trees (which is also noted in the instructions). When you have cats jumping all around and racing up & down these trees the bolts are bound to loosen some over time. All 3 of our trees sit on hardwood floors, they are not braced against anything and they are sturdy and withstand a lot of abuse from my bunch that can get very wild at times :) Our largest cat is 12.8 pounds ( 2 years old), he loves to nap on either the top tower or inside the box, he's tallerlonger than your average cat (but not overweight) and he manages to fit just fine on either the top tower or inside the box of the tree. These are his preferred napping spots. The kittens spend hours playing together on these trees and it provides lots of entertainment for them (and us watching them). Yes, the little ball toys that come with it fall off in a matter of minutes, but this is not what I purchased the tower for and my catskittens don't need those toys to be entertained on these trees ! All my catskittens also make great use of the trees scratching posts. We have other free standing scratching posts throughout the house as well and have never had a problem with the adult cats or kittens scratching our furniture. Very satisfied with out Armarkat Cat Trees and have recommended them to others.
LOVE THIS CAT TREE!!!
Gina from Florida – Verified Buyer
This is a FABULOUS cat tree. Our cat LOVES this and helps her as she is a shy cat. She can still join all the company, but from a safe, high distance. She feels safe and loves napping on the top platform. I've read other reviews and some people complained it was wobbly, but I didn't think that was an issue. It is intended to go against a wall or corner. Our wasn't and we never feared that it would tip over. This is not super heavy like the ugly ones from the pet store, which by the way are SUPER expensive. We love our cat, but not enough to spend $200-300 on something that has 2 levels. We're smarter than that and maximize our money. So when I say this is worth, THIS IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's good exercise for our cat to run up and down, she feels safe, and it allows her to nap in peace, and we get to have keep her company. She loves the scratch posts on the bottom and we store her toys in the box space as she doesn't hang out in there. Great product, totally worth the look/purchase. You won't be sorry!
Glad I finally chose this one!

I looked and looked at cat trees (and read reviews) until I was dizzy and finally took a chance on this one. I needed a high tree with a small footprint and this one has a base of 20 wide x 24 deep, but, as I live in an apartment, I was worried about the overall dimensions stated in the description. I'm glad to say that it is adjustable, according to how you turn the top perches. anyway, it ended up with dimensions of 24-12 wide x 27-12 deep, which is about all I have room for in my livingdining room combination. Also, according to my measurements, it's only 77 tall, which fine, but I wouldn't want it any shorter. I don't know why they don't put the actual measurements, including anything adjustable in the description. I'm so happy to report that my cat, Marlee, is so happy with this tree. He even played and napped on it while I was assembling it. I'm 66 years old with severe osteoporosis, so it took me a little longer to assemble (took frequent breaks), but I had it completely together in 3 hours ... just having fun with Marlee while putting it together. I also, love the color of the faux fleece ... looks even better than the photo on the product page. It seems very sturdy, too. All in all I can't rave enough about this cat treecondo. Marlee and I are very happy, indeed.
Kitties in Love
Ani from Louisiana
I got this for my two cats: One that just turned a year old and one that is 14 weeks old. The younger one races up to the top and sleeps up there all day. My older one loves loves loves the house. They use the scratching posts constantly (thankfully) and they play on all levels. I was one of those people that looked at tons and tons of cat tree houses and their reviews. This is a good product, easy to put together, and made out of good material.
My cats love these!

My cats really get a lot of use out of these armarkat trees -- great quality, reasonably easy to put together and doesn't make a huge mess like the carpeted ones with carpet fuzzies everywhere. I don't know why any cat owner looking for a cat scratcher tree, would buy anything other than this brand. Furthermore, it was about half the price of the ones in the specialty pet stores and much better quality. When this one wears out (I've had it for 4 years with two very actively scratching cats and it is still in good shape) - I'd definitely buy another one.
Very sturdy but my cats don't use it

This tower assembled quickly and is *very* sturdy and well made. The carpet and sisal wrapped poles look like they will stand up to wear. In theory, this looks like a great cat climber. However, the space between platforms is a tight fit for my 3 adult cats, two of which are older. To get to the top unit they have to sit on the small platform in the base, go though the hole, twist and squeeze onto the side platform, jump onto the small platform that has the box, then step onto the box to reach the uppermost platforms. They do not seem to like all the squirming into position to get to the next level. They have each tried it out once, but now pretty much just ignore it, even though it is by a window and they love sitting on high places. I will try more catnip on it, and adding a small staircase unit beside it to make it easier to climb from the outside. But I wish I had chosen a different configuration.
It's big, people. Be prepared!

After getting through about half of the assembly process, I thought to myself, "what part of "78 inches tall" did I not comprehend?" Best place to put it? -hard flooring, not carpet. Careful with the bottom bolts when positioning it on hardwood flooring. Tilt it onto it's carpeted edge when sliding it into place. Is it shaky and wobbly? -Only at the base. The rest of it is very solid. Try placing a piece cardboard under one of the edges at the base. Is the quality of the faux fleece poor? -No. Other comments had lead me to believe that it would be thin and cheap. It was much better than I had anticipated. I had almost decided that it was simply too large to be allowed, but when my cat fell in love with it instantly, I knew it was here to stay.
Strong and stable
Patricia from Lindenhurst, NY – Verified Buyer
I have two 10-year old cats. I bought this tree so they would have something to climb on besides my new furniture. Didn't work--they're still all over the furniture, but that's not because they don't like the tree. They use it for sleeping, scratching and to step onto the windowsills. Wish they played on it more, but that's just them. The tree is very solid, sturdy, and very heavy. There was a pretty powerful chemical odor that dissipated after a week or so, and I can stilll smell it if I get up close, but I don't think that's keeping the cats away. Definitely worth it.

I looked at a number of cat trees before buying this one. Both in stores and online. Some were very moderrn, all wood, like fine furniture and very expensive; others had a variety of features including snazy patterned material. This tree is light sisal (the round tubes) and faux fur that is a cream color (the rest of it). I felt it would fit my space as it is compact and yet offer many play spaces due to the vertical design. Also, the tree is pretty "neutral" as to color, so does not conflict with anything else. It went together easily with the Allen wrench provided--maybe an hour to assemble leisurely. It is quite stable for a 78" tall "tree" and the design allows for a number of "play" and "rest" stations. I have one young, small, energetic all black female cat. She enjoys scratching the sisal tubes, climbing all over the thing, and napping in the codo. The main entry to the condo faces the door of my room; the diamond "window" faces my computer so the cat can watch me as she rests. She would be hard-pressed to tip it over. Perhaps multiple cats or a very heavy one might tip it over in an unusual situation. I have not found it necessary to brace the tree in any way. Shipping was exactly as described and arrived on time (about 4 business days, approx.) and the unit was well packaged, arrived in good shape and was complete. It weighs about 55 pounds in the box. Price from Wayfair was very competitative--in fact, the best I found , and very fair for the quality involved. I'd planned to build a tree; this fit the bill and saved many hours of work. Have been very pleased and the cat is, too.
Loki Loves It!
Jennifer from Wauwatosa, WI – Verified Buyer
My 11 month old brown tabby, Loki, loves his tree. I usually catch him snoozing all the way up on the top perch. It didn't take long for him to declare this space was his. He also loves to scratch on the rope posts or dangle off the top to bat at toys. He ripped the toy that hangs from the very top perch off within 24 hours, but that's only because he really loved the texture of it. Figuring out how to attach something up there again since he ripped out the staple that held the toy in place. Loki gives 2 paws up.
