Magestic Height, Endless Fun
Billie from Los Angeles, CA – Verified Buyer
I've owned a lot of cats who have enjoyed a lot of cat trees, but I've never hit the perfect match between the two until now. I was worried about the stability of this cat tree because of its height, but turns out it is not a problem. My cats are 12lb and 10lb and they fly up to the top and down again. Since the base is relatively small compared to the height, the tree does sway. But, I've learned that that's a good thing. My previous cat tree had a wide solid base holding up posts & perches. As the weight of a leaping cat landed on those perches, the posts began to bend over time. This cat tree moves as one with the motion at the top. This does NOT put a bending pressure on the posts. My cats leaped up on it while I was putting it together (very easy assembly) and have not stopped using it. Plus, I prefer the Armakat products since they are covered with Faux Fleece (like sheepskin) rather than Faux Fur (like cheap slippery fabric). Much softer and cat-friendly. Extremely pleased.
RAGDOLLS LOVE IT
Tamara from Canada – Verified Buyer
First off let's start by saying I've been now using this cat tree for nearly two years and it's held up well. The fleece covering is starting to wear down on the platforms where they sleep the most (gets all fuzzy along with two minor holes) but other than that no complaints. My rag dolls are 14-15lbs and they run up and down this thing all the time. It's much better if you can put it against two adjoining walls for stability though. Canadian buyers beware this tree cost me almost $250 by the time I paid duties and taxes though. But I'd say it was worth the money! They use it everyday and if I had of known about the platforms I would have started out with a blanket or some sort of fabric to cover it. It's also easily cleanable, I just use my wire bristled cat brush and the fur comes right off :)
77" Classic Cat Tree in Ivory

I am so happy I purchased this piece! I don't understand why "Cat Castles" (what I call these giant cat gyms) are produced in so many colors, seemingly from the 1970's pallet. I searched through 200 different options until I finally found this item ... in all its' lovely mono-tone ivory. Let's face it, if you're buying a seven foot 'toy' for your cats ... no one wants to see it in technicolor! This blends beautifully into the background, especially when placed in a corner. I assembled it myself, easily a one man job. Each piece was labeled well and the directions are completely simple. Made of wood and rug and sisal - no fillers. Five stars
Love this brand
Jessica from Royse City, TX – Verified Buyer
We had a different model from this same brand and it was awesome. My two cats aren't very big, but they use their tree daily and the old one stood up well to constant daily use for about three years. The old one was looking a bit rough and we were moving so we ordered this model for the new house. It's also great, but a bit taller than our last one which means it has some wobble to it. My cats love the top platform of course so that's all that matters. If you put it up against a wall it helps give it some stability. My cats also don't seem to notice or care that it wobbles a bit. I like the plush fabric and it's in a good color vs. other brands that sometimes use ugly carpet.
Two happy kitties!!

I did a lot of research and review reading before finally deciding on this purchase. I was worried the platforms and the condos would not be big enough for my two big girls. Alot of reviews I saw said they had big cats and this cat tree worked well for them. It also seemed that the Armarkat brand was one of the better brands as for as quality and durability. I did put it together myself and I am not the greatest to put things together. It was less than an hour and it was done and looked great. It looks like I spent hundreds of dollars on this tree and so thrilled on how much I really paid. Inside the condos is just the wood showing and material is soft but somewhat thin but you know, It still looks good and the cats really dont care. I also left the ladder piece off to give more room on the platform. I didnt think they would really use it and would prefer to jump up to the next level. They love playing and sleeping on it. I may get a soft blanket to cushion the condos a little more, but I know they dont really care. I was hoping my adopted kitty with nails would take to scratching on this rather than my furniture which she had been doing. She took right to this and is now leaving my furniture alone. :) :) This was my first purchase from Wayfair and it's not going to be my last. Shipped very quickly and free at that!! I now look here first when I am looking for something I need.

The one cat we have never seen use other trees in house was in bottom cave with in seconds of piece being removed from box! All SEVEN the cats love it! I own another Armarkat & had a knock-off, which this one replaced. For the few extra $'s buy Armarkat (any model) it out lasts other brand by 2x+. This model has held up well to the full grown male cats chasing each other up it. (StandingStood OK, Did not fall over) Shakes sightly yes but these are FULL grown males. I do have unit in a corner. Best price on web here!
All in all, a good cat tree
Laurie from WA
After reading numerous reviews on various cat trees, we settled on this one. It is solidly made with plywood, instead of press board. I could not tell from the picture if the top 3 platforms were flat or had an edges. They have an edge, which I was happy to find. It has taken several weeks for our cats to regularly use it. Our 5 yr old cat has finally decided to try the top 3 platforms. I put a kitty warmer in the lower house to encourage them to use it. That worked. I also placed a blanket in the top house to make is softer. That worked too. As others mentioned, it does shake a little when the cats jump on it. That scared them at first but they seem to have gotten used to it. If there was no shaking, I would give it 5 stars. All in all, this is a good product.

Delivery was on the day quoted. The parts are all labelled, the fasteners are identified, and the instructions are step by step, indicating which part goes next and which fastener to use. The two tools required are included, but a step ladder is required to install the top perch. A bonus is that the posts are all wound with rope to make sturdy scratching posts. The final assembled product is stable and appears very sturdy. My cat (a muscular 15 pounds) was cautious at first, but didn't take long to drag the ball hanging from the top perch onto that perch.
Cats love it
Kimberly from Brooklyn, CT – Verified Buyer
Overall was pretty straightforward to assemble. Materials seemed decent and sturdy. Once assembled I was worried about some wobbling as when a larger cat was on it near the top. However, since then at least two or three of my cats are on this most of the time I walk by the room it is in, and it seems fine. Like that it has two cubes to hang in, which are decent in size also. Shipping was awesome, even right before holidays.
Great Cat Tree
pinkytyphoon from Brookfield, WI
I have three cats. One is basically geriatric, so I wanted to get a tree that she could get up and into easily. The other two are about 2 and 5, but still act very much like kittens, so I wanted a tree that they could jump around in. I also wanted one large enough so the cats would have their own space. Well, all of the cats love it. They were inspecting it before I could even finish putting it together. It was easily assembled (takes about 15 minutes) and the second it was set up, they were all over it. The many scratching posts keep them busy. I did buy my own toys to hang off the loops, and they love that too. They were all a little dubious of the fuzzy stair ramp, because the steps are very shallow and don't offer a whole lot of traction to climb up. Instead, its main use is to bounce off of when they zip up to the top. The material is soft, I put some extra fuzzy pads in the boxes so they would be cozier, but that really isn't necessary. I've had this tree for a little over a month now, and it hasn't lost it's charm yet. I can't say anything about the longevity of the tree yet, but so far so good. The price couldn't be beat, [...] I had to go for it. The kitties and I are glad I did!
