Cats love it, I love it! Everybody's happy!

I'll admit that I bought it mostly for the looks. Other reviewers wrote about its sturdiness and strength so I wasn't TOO worried about that. But I can't stand those typical ugly rug covered cat trees. Bits of the carpet end up all over my house and the rug wears down pretty quickly. The cats are more attracted to the sisal rope to sharpen their claws on (I knew this from the starching posts I have) and the faux fleece on the landings is much softer than carpet and doesn't mess up my house! Obviously I want my cats to be happy and have big apparatuses to climb/scratch/sleep on but I didn't want people to walk in my house and see an eyesore and think "uh oh, crazy cat lady!" I can say I am very happy about the visual aspect of this cat tree. Now, I would never have thought about buying a cat tree/kitty condo that I would have to put together - for fear it wouldn't be sturdy. This is SO MUCH sturdier than any I've owned before that came assembled. I have 3 hearty cats that even at 12 years old are very active. They run at this thing and take a flying leap onto it and it doesn't budge. And all 3 of them are on it at the same time, doing their thing and its holding up great. They all fight for the little covered house though. I wish there were 3 of them so they could all have their own "rooms". The little cat toy with the string attached to it though...an accident waiting to happen. I have a cat that swallows anything string-like so I never even attached it. Having cats my whole life made me think that no good could come of that toy. I highly recommend this. I'm trying to get my brother to buy one for his cat. I think I'll just buy it for him, for that price its worth it!
Wonderful cat tree!

This is an outstanding item! It arrived quickly, was super easy to put together, and looks great in the living room where my little ones can feel like family with their own piece of furniture. All three of our cats just love this thing! I purchased this because of the step up levels that would allow the older cat access to the window - as all cats LOVE windows! The second shelf sticks out a bit further than I though, but is still "step-able" for the older cat. There is plenty of places for all three cats to be in the tree together. I have one that runs and leaps up to the top level in rather a launch form, and the thing never even wobbles! Very sturdy fixture, and I'm confident it will last a very long time. Great purchase at a great price.
I'm, Chocolate... a fat cat!
Chocolate, the big guy from Orem, UT
My name is Chocolate and I'm a 20 lb. Siamese. My mom ordered this cat tree about a year ago, but she wanted me to use it, before we made any comments. I'm very pleased with it and so is she. In the pet stores, cat trees are too expensive, for what you get, but this was a reasonable price. Since I'm a fat cat, mom wasn't sure it would work for me, but it did. It only moved slightly, when I jumped from each shelf to the top. I love playing with the extra hanging toys that mom added to the steps. I use the covered post to sharpen my claws, which is better than using the stairs. I get yelled at, when I do that. Mom grows catnip for me and rubs it all over the steps of my tree. Putting this tree together was easy for Dad. It only took about 45 min. They placed it against the wall in a corner of our family room, as recomended. The covering is thin, but I think it's OK. If it should wear out, Mom thinks it would be EASY to recover it, with some cheap carpet rements. I'm Chocolate and I'm very happy with my cat tree and so is Mom. It's a nice product.
Cats love it! Worth the $

Let me begin by saying I've had this cat climber for over 4 years and it is in great shape! The order process was simple, it arrived in a box, assembly was simple, and my cat took to it immediately. I bought my second one (just like it) 2 years ago when we got a second cat. Now I'm getting a third climber (not a third cat). I have them set up around the house so the cats can be with us in our most used rooms. Even my chihuahua uses the bottom steps for sunning. It is easy to vacuum and an occasional tightening with an allen wrench keeps it sturdy. I have a 20lb male orange tabby who jumps on all the climbers like they are rodeo horses. He is a blast to watch. I love my cats, they love their climbers, it's a happy household!
68" classic cat tree

I love the cat tree. More importantly, my cats love the tree. This is my second one, although they're a little different in size. I've had the first one about 4 or 5 years. They are sturdy and well made. My female cat is 15+ pounds and my male is 8 lbs, and 12 years old. It is steady, just a little bit of motion when the big cat runs and jumps on it, and I feel it is very safe for both cats. I love the ivory color; it keeps it from standing out and being so noticeable in the room with my light colored walls. The cats love to sit and look out the window, and once in awhile sleep in the little "cubby". They use the scratching posts all the time, I am totally happy with the look, the quality and the price of the tree. Price was less through Wayfair than trees I could find in stores locally, and looks much better, more expensive. Assembly was a breeze.
Overall a great deal

The only real complaint I have about this tree is that I wish it had carpet. The faux fleece is not going to withstand the passing of time, but I figure I should still get a year of use out of it (hopefully) before I have to trash it. This is the second cat tree I have purchased, but the first Armarkat cat tree. It was very, very easy to put together. I did it by myself. I bought it for its height. I wanted a cat tree to put next to my sliding glass door so that my cat could look over my porch fence. I also wanted something that was simple. So many of the larger cat trees are too busy looking and offer options that my cat would not be interested in. I did a ton of research before buying this tree. This tree has levels that are all accessible. I read reviews of many other large cat trees where people complained about the height differences between certain levels or that the upper levels tended to wobble. Neither of these is an issue with this tree. However, keep in mind that I have only 1 cat and he is probably about 7 or 8 pounds.
Total ease for cats and humans- Worth it

Read reviews- thought this was the way to go. Totally worth every penny. Four cats- but this certainly is limited for your 18 pound cat.The cubby cannot fit him, but my 10-12 pound lady loves it. It is 12 in. square. My 18lb guy will sleep on the perches, but it may is a tight fit, still does it. The way that the ledges are staggered allows them to play together, (or sleep alone). The base is 21in. square, but 28in. wide because of the one hang over from the lowest ledge. It's easy for them all to jump from one ledge to the next, even for the one cat that has a bear of a time jumping on a chair. The scratches are useful (if used by your little guy) They do frey, but totally worth what you're getting. Looked in stores for trees- they were double the price, wouldn't arrive at your front door and half the size. If you're looking for a sizable tree without being an entire wall of your living room, or paying $250+, this is absolutely the tree to get. Giggles a bit when they jump from high up, but that's going to happen if you're getting a tree of this height. It's never anything that ever had us concerned. Won't tip, they love it, and creates easy height for cats. The wooly carpeting does get pilly pretty quickly, but not too much where its an eye sore or falling apart. Oh, and an extra dangle toy comes with it if your cat rips it off. Ours hasn't, but I'm waiting for it because they play so much. Husband says it pretty easy to put together, too. Can't complain and the easy of it all for them and us was awesome.
My cats love it!

Great purchase for a great price and my 2 cats love it! I did have to put some cat treats on it so they would check it out, but now they are both on it all the time! Max is 12.5 lbs and it looks like the platforms would be too small but they're not too small for him. Ronan is 10.5 lbs and both cats play on it and sleep on it at the same time, it is a little bit wobbly when they jump around but it doesn't seem to bother them at all. They both use the scratching posts as well. My 24 year old daughter put this together for me and she said it was not hard at all. I hope this helps you to pick out a great cat tower!

This is a great product. This is the second time I have purchased this brand (Armarkat) and the quality is very sturdy. The price Wayfair offered it at was great (especially since I got free shipping). It arrived as scheduled. I assembled it by myself in about 15-20 minutes using the included allen wrench. One of my kitties was already napping in the little house while it was still on the floor during the assembly process. Both cats took to the tree immediately and seem to LOVE it. One cat is elderly (18 years old) and he climbs up and down this tree with ease. The other cat is big (ragdoll, about 15 pounds) and is perfectly comfortable of every perch and inside the house. Finally it is quite stable even with both cats on it simultaneously (even on the uppermost perches). Highly recommend,
Still Strong after a year plus

This requires some assembly, but is pretty easy and incredibly sturdy. It has taken well over a year for my cats to destroy one of the sisal posts from scratching. Our British Shorthair loves the top of the tower and our other cat enjoys the castle box. They are 11-13 pounds and this has been pretty sturdy for their leaping, jumping and antics. It does rock a bit, but has never tipped dangerously or scared me. The bounce back will eventually mark the wall behind that, but I rather expect that with the cat related products and the nature of my feline fantastics.
