I use this leopard print rug in my bedroom. I purchased the 5'x8' size rug. The black border on the rug is 4 inches wide. The rug is a little thin and has a low pile- what I expected from the Wayfair description. I use a double thick rug pad to cushion it a little since it's on a wood floor. I purchased two of these rugs (family room/living room). My house is a neutral color scheme, contemporary decor with tile floors. These rugs add flair but yet classic with the brown and black border frames around the leopard print and really warmed up the rooms nicely. The rugs are the exact colors/look of the Internet photo (no surprises when they arrived).
If you are looking for a tall/plush pile, these are not the rugs for you. The pile is low/smooth and is very easy to vacuum. I did not have any problems with rug moving; however, if you have active pets or kids and you are using on tile or wood floors, you may want to use some carpet tape on the corners to ensure rugs stay in place to prevent any slippage/accidents. Tip: to get rid of carpet roll marks when you first roll out rug, apply some heat from a blow dryer/press down with hands and roll marks will disappear."..." Read more

We bought the largest size of this rug for the living room in my daughter's new house. It turned out to be too large, so we downsized and bought a smaller size for her. We took the bigger rug home and put it in our huge bedroom. It looks fabulous in both places with our hardwoods. We have different color schemes in both our houses, but this rug matches perfectly in both places. At her place the peridot color really pops and the muted gold accents in the rug match perfectly with her buff gold walls and white mouldings. At our house the color leans towards mint against our taupe walls, golden oak floors and golden pine furnishings. It makes a large room look even larger and it is easy to clean."..." Read more

I'm using this rug in my living room to set off my beautiful hardwood floors after decades of wall-to-wall carpeting. Even though I've always been a traditionalist, I actually decided to go contemporary after seeing this rug. It goes well with the blues of the sofa and window treatments, and there is just enough red in it to go with my accent pillows. The rug is so soft under bare feet that guests shouldn't object to my new no-shoes-on-my-refinished-floors policy.
A real plus for me is that the rug was made in America.
I don't know of any negatives.
I'd recommend that if this particular rug doesn't appeal to you, then look over the manufacturer's other rugs on this site. This is a quality product."..." Read more
