We have a trio of very elderly, but much-loved, dogs. You can guess where this going, right The odor and the spots were driving me mad. But whats a devoted pet-owners going to do with a bunch of incontinent hounds
After trying progressively cheaper and uglier rugs, and throwing out all of the above after a few months of use, I stumbled acrost these, crossed my fingers, and ordered four, in various sizes. These are just the ticket!
I love the bright, bright colors, and the fun patterns. They are light enough that I can easily take them outside and literally hose them off, and if I drape them over a rail, they are dry by dinnertime. Any wetness, whether intended (me and hose) or unintended (my middle, baddest dog) passes right through them, like a sieve. No stains, and none of that lingering urine smell.
Clean and like new again. SUCH a relief to this clean freak.
So far they seem to be wearing well, and are surprisingly comfortable underfoot. I thought theyd be rough and scratchy, but they are softish and springyish.
I was going to get some kind of underlay to keep them from slipping, but it hasnt been a problem, except with the doormat sized one, which tends to skitter around the door area.
