I purchased this rug 4 years ago and am so very happy with it. The rug is beautifully made and has withstood many spills and I've vacuumed over it many times without pilling. The colors are vibrant and, although I do not like this particular picture of the rug on the website (it makes the colors look relatively muted), it is just so very GORGEOUS in person. There's an unevenness throughout the rug of various heights of the wool and also various textures which creates nice depth and makes it look sophisticated. The wool is soft, so it's very gentle beneath your feet. I would describe the colors as ivory/off white, sage, olive gold, chocolate brown, brick red, and rust. The only thing I'd recommend is getting a pad for underneath it if you are putting it on carpet. I have light cream carpet and some of the printing ink of the company brand name came off on the carpet (but, it did clean off)."..." Read more

The rug I ordered is absolutely first quality gorgeous! Karastan makes a great product, but this rug is completely special. The colors are rich and should go with a variety of decors. The wool is so soft on my bare feet! I have the rug in my living room and I finally feel as if I don't have to search for the perfect rug anymore. I have it! I have owned various sizes of this Karastan pattern for many years. The warm colors are just right for the Pacific NW climate. There are so many colors in the rug that color coordinatingdecorating is made much easier . Because this pattern is so dense, it blends into a room much better than most Persianspatterns do. I liked many of the rug patterns in Karastans new nylon line, however, the nylon rugs dont feel nearly as nice as the wool ones and I am often barefoot. My old Karastans have worn very well. This pattern is very forgiving for any spillsstains. It looks much better in person than the internet pics because the colors are so rich and vibrant."..." Read more
