Area Rugs

This rug manages to look both homey and modern at the same time. It is not particularly soft or plush; it's more of a thick flat weave that shows off the rug's spiral pattern. About colors and patterns: The rug colors are well represented on Wayfair's website, but it might not be a bad idea to order the smallest size as a sample. The individual braids of these rugs are not solid colors. They have various small, very subtle, patterns in the different braid materials that don't really show in photographs. Also, I ordered (and returned) the smallest Star Blossom and Pumpkin Pie Super Nova rugs, and they both are pretty - but they had a sort of country look to them. ON THE INTERNET THIS RUG LOOKED LIKE IT MATCHED SOME NEW CURTAINS I HAD JUST PURCHASED FROM ANOTHER SELLER. WHEN I RECEIVED THE RUG, I WAS THRILLED..IT MATCHED EXACTLY AND MY KITCHEN LOOKS REALLY COOL. I LOVE TO DECORATE AND MY KITCHEN IS DONE IN 1950'S WHICH IS WHEN I GREW UP. I'VE USED VINTAGE FURNITURE, GLASSWARE, AND ACCENT PIECES TO CREATE A PLEASANT, NOSTALGIC ATMOSPHERE. MY HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1956 AND HAS A LOT OF CHARACTER..I WOULD NEVER USE ANYTHING IN MY HOME THAT WAS CHEAP OR POORLY MADE. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE RUG IS THE THICKNESS.
