Great color, style and comfort in this rug. I have not experienced fraying. Be aware, though, that this rug holds a LOT of water, taking days to dry when soaked or cleaned - especially in our humid southern summer weather. Best for completely sheltered locations. We bought two of these to use in our restaurant diningroom to help tamp down the noise. They were such a bargain, I was really surprised to see such great quality and appearance. They are in a high traffic area, and they are holding up really well. We've gotten lots of compliments about them.
