Gives an aquarium a beautiful marine glow. I use one regular bulb and one marine glo in a freshwater tank. in combination, both lights give my cichlids a vibrant color. Great product!

The light works and provides a nice looking effect on my 36" long 40/gal breeder tank. The LED's look a bit cheap in construction though. Pros: Cheap, looks nice if you get one big enough for your tank. Low heat. Low power. Cons: While the chassis is solid and feels nice, the LED's feel and look like cheap plastic toys from McD's. The night and day LED's are on a rocker switch so no automatic timer can switch between them. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Wayfair did what any good vendor should. I use two of the 4 Ft Aruba Sun 2 x 54 Watt T5 with LEDs and love it. I have them inside my existing canopy. They measure 47" long so they fit nicely and leave room for my fan. I have had them for almost a year now. I like the fact that you can control the LEDs independent from the T5 bulbs. So, during the day, you can have the T5s come on and light up your fish or reef tank then at night the T5s can shut off and you can have just the LEDs on which give the tank a nice glow - a "moonlight effect" basically. I was impessed at how bright it was. I think the individual bulb reflectors make a big difference in the light output because these are bright. My corals have responded well. They open up nicely once the T5s come on. I wish I would have bought it here though as the price is about $50 less than at my local fish store where I got it from."..."  Read more

I use three Hamilton 250 Watt 14K DE HQI bulbs over my 125 gallon reef and I love them. They are really good for coral growth and have a nice look to them - a mix of blue/white color.
