Timely delivery. Product in good shape (one crunch on the aluminum pan - but not bad). Using this for a "catio" and made some modifications to it to allow 2 cats outdoors time and to be safe. It was easy to assemble, and the finished product looks excellent. Added a 'pet door' to the back side of the coop that adjoins a house window cutout and added a tunnel for the cats to access the great outdoors from the house. We are so excited to get it finished and set up for them to use. Built a platform to set the unit on that give them another added playroom on a lower level and screened it in also. Did use a fine mesh screening over the existing chicken wire to keep small critters and mosquitoes away. Have had so much fun getting this ready for our 'kids'. I will let you know once they have had a chance to explore and use it as to how they enjoy it. It exceeded our expectations all around. I would recommend this item to anyone who raises chickens, and also, for those with a creative vision and ability to do the modifications if using it for other than chickens.
Nice for keeping ferrets
Kimberly from Texico, NM– Verified Buyer
As a ferret rescue, I was looking for a way to keep the ferrets in a safe, but secure environment for all types weather. Although this coop was a little smaller than I thought it would be, it was fairly easy to put together, and took two adults about 2 hours to put together. I have to admit the instructions are a bit strange, as none of the pieces are marked and you have to work from a small picture diagram that gives almost zero help. It is pretty much hit and miss, but with a little brainpower and concentration, it can be done. Although the joints are a bit flimsy, adding carpenter's glue makes for a more sturdy fit. Adding a paver-stone floor and plexi-glass sides also make it more secure for ferrets. Overall, it worked well and we are purchasing another to increase their space.

Wayfair shipped out this produce with was not at all what had ordered. Was informed another shipment would be shipped and arrive in 2 days. In 48 hours told the shipment won't be delivered until July 31, 2014. To enact buyer protection contacted PayPal. In the next 48 hours the order was cancelled with no refund info. Could not reach Wayfair by phone. Checked their site and found this chicken coop still being offered but at a higher price. Had to do over again would had never contacted this company to purchase this product. Hope to get refund from PayPal soon. Stay away from this business.
Made in China! (

I was very disappointed to find out the coop was made in China. I would not have purchased it if I knew in advance. It had a strong chemical order so I plan on scrubbing it down really well. It's a little flimsy but for the price is worth it. Good design idea but needs some re-enforcement.
Could be a little more sturdy....
Jennifer from California
This was a little tricky to put together. The instructions were just pictures and nothing was labeled. It's pretty sturdy but it would be better if it came with stakes. Some larger animals could easily tip it over to get inside. We have made it work for us and we are using it and are happy with it.

This is a nice chicken coop and it has worked out well for us. The instructions were a little unclear so it took us a little time to get it together, but for the price we feel good about it. I would recommend it.

2 MAX...and we have 4. Very disappointed with the size. Overall otherwise, this is nice. It wasn't terrible to put together but not foolproof either...thank God my husband is handy.
More flimsy than expected.
Nichole from Wisconsin
The chicken coop came fine, but there were a couple pieces that came broken from delivery. We ended up using wood glue to fix them. The coop came with some awful directions so you just kind of had to figure everything out. It's a little bit more flimsy than I was expecting. I'm hoping it will hold up for the Wisonsin winters.

The coop was a little difficult to put together because of the instructions they weren't really that great other than that the product is great fits my son's 3 chickens. The chickens are satisfied as well!

I suggest you have two people to put this together. I also added extra locks on every thing so that racoons and their little fingers can't open the doors, and do not screw the run onto the coop, I put locking luggage hardware on top and bottom on both sides , that way it makes it easier to clean and move around, unless your a midget and can crawl inside, that ramp needs to be washed so make it so you can get inside the run ! also the roosting bar is too small I, used a 2 by 4 instead just set it on the tabs already in place.
