When our 5-year-old Beagle started having back pain this past year, I knew I wanted to do something to make getting up and down from the bed easier for him. I knew I wanted to buy a set of pet steps, but so many of them I saw in stores or on-line seemed so cheap and borderline hazardous. Not so with these. I doubt you will find a sturdier set of pet stairs on the market. True, they are a bit on the expensive side, but they are worth it. The selling point for me was the size of these steps. The stairs themselves are a nice height and deep--they mimic the dimentions of the stairs in our house almost perfectly, so it was an easy adjustment for Buddy to start using them. Granted, he doesn't always use them, but that is more an issue with me not being as strict about it as I should. With a little training, I have no doubt anyone could train their dog to use these rather easily. If you're looking for sturdy, well-constructed pet steps that your dog will use and won't be an eye sore in your home, look no further!

Very sturdy and no assembly. My 2 dogs are getting used to using it. It took a couple of weeks to get them to use it going down rather than jumping down. They are Shih Tzu's and do not need the impact of jumping on their joints.

We have used many dog stairs. These are by far the most well constructed. The width and height are perfect for big and small dogs. Our daschund loves them to get on the couch. Much better than jumping eliminating back problems

Great concept for a older dog. Wish my dog would use it to get up / off of his chair but is still jumping on and off his chair around it.

I brought this b/c one of my small dogs is getting older and is having difficulty jumping on the bed. These steps have greatly improved her mobility, which is exactly what was needed. This product to made very well and is solidly constructed.
