This safe was fairly easy to install, although it does not come with the lag bolts needed to securely fasten it to the studs. Overall, it is a good quality safe with an impressive locking mechanism. Even if the outside hinge is grinded down, there is an inside 'lip' where the hinge is to prevent it from being opened on the hinge side. This gives some added protection and peace of mind. The best tip I could give is to hide the safe in a closet behind some hanging clothes or behind a picture. If a burgler can't see it, it can't be tampered with.
