Amico Shinco 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote

I ordered this off season but needed to test it. Being winter it was only 68 degrees in the 10x10 room I was in. Shortly after the compressor turned on it didn't take long before it was 62 degrees. Sure it is noisy but what do you expect from what I now call The Monster The airflow is awesome, so powerful they should have named this thing The Blizzard

Takes time to cool 15x15 room and is very loud. For the price it was a very good deal. I guess I expected it to be less noisy when it was running.

Worth every penny!! I will never again go another uncomfortable summer. I live in a large Apartment 1,400 sq ft in Southern California. It started getting really hot inside around 84 degrees I couldn't stand it anymore so I purchased this A/C. I call it my "R2D2" looks like a small robot. Not too noisy. I actually like how it sounds it helps me sleep. It cools half my apartment super fast the side where all the bedrooms are. It cools my office where my computers are, my room and my kids room. I like to keep it at 72 degrees it actually starts feeling too cold sometimes at night so then I set it to 74. I am sure it could go a lot cooler. This unit is so amazing that I am planning on getting another one for the other side of my apartment next year. I am really happy with Wayfair this has been my very first purchase and they have treated me superb! I had orginally found a 10% off coupon on a site called braddeals and the checkout didn't take it so I contacted customer service by email and they took care of it the following day, issued a credit for 10%. I also, needed this unit ASAP! I did not want my computers to cook so I contacted costomer service by email and explained my situation I was shocked that they got it to me in less than 48hours!!! WOW! Now that is AWESOME Service! with FREE SHIPPING! too. I will now be a Wayfair customer for LIFE :)

I am very happy with this unit so far. I live in an approx 650sq ft apt and have it set up in my living room. It very quickly cools down the living room and within an hour or two will also start to cool down the rest of my apt. It is a bit noisy, kind of like leaving the exhaust fan on high above your stove, but I would compare it to any other unit that I was looking at. It was shipped very quickly and in a well packaged box so received no damage. Extremely easy to set up. I would recommend this to any one.

This air conditioner is very easy to get set up and easy to use. The only drawback is the noise. The other reviews said it was a bit noisy, but for the money it was the best buy.

The air conditioner and fan functions work very well and I am sure the dehumidify function will to as soon as I get the right size drain hose. I gave 4 stars because I bought the inner diameter size the owner"s manual said to and it is to small. The inner diameter hose you use as a drain hose is in fact 12in, not the 10mm as the owner's manual says The owner's manual needs to be changed so others do not have to do the same thing.

14,000 btu air conditioner works very good - cold cold air and not too loud- easy to set up with window vent

Loud but thats pretty much expected I guess. Unit kept blowing breakers, even on own breaker. Doesn't Cool even our small office satisfactory. Would not reccomend this unit to anybody. Didn't know when ordering had to use exhaust hose. Pictures don't show any but should.
