It does what I need it to.

I needed it for recovering from surgery, & I'm using it right now. I got this particular table because "hospital" tables all have wheels that are too tall to fit under my furniture. I had a hard time putting it together. The instructions are simple, but wedging the pieces together gave me trouble. Definitely has to be under something heavy with feet. I won't use it once I'm recovered. Pros: works like a "hospital" table, easy instructions/minimal tools required, swings easily out of the way, tabletop large enough for a laptop beverages phone water cup & crackers, fits under regular furniture Cons: a little difficult to put together/pieces hard to wedge together, needs to be under something heavy with feet or will tip over, you have to decide where you will use it before you buy as it specific to right hand (there's a left hand version)

This table works pretty well for my mother who has left side deficiencies due to a stroke. It works well to keep items within easy reach of her right hand. We needed to drill holes in the base of the table to attach it securely to the base of the lift chair so it did not slide around and move closer when my mother's lift chair was raised and lowered. There is real safety issue with the possibility of a person's arm being caught between the chair arm and the table if used next to a lift chair. This table takes up less floor space than a normal side table so it is a good option for smaller rooms.
Great alternative to Hospital Style bed table!

Just received the EZ table and have installed in my mom's nursing home room. It has a very sturdy metal base, that goes under her recliner, with nothing sticking out. She now has a surface directly over her lap, as it adjusts height wise, very easily, It completely swivels, so the aides are able to push tabletop aside to help her into wheelchair. We added a Dycem mat, which is a non skid non adhesive mat to keep things from falling off of table. Just make sure you know ahead of time, if need to order the right or left hand table. It has to do with what is on either side of chair/ez table. Great product, fast service!
great product. exactly as advertised

great product, fast delivery. Please follow directions when assembling! Assembly is simple if you don't remove the shipping screws..we found out the hard way. Talked to the manufacturer on Christmas Eve and they were able to correct our mistake with emailed instructions. Will buy from Wayfair again and wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from table manufacturer. Great product, great experience with purchase.

Table was easy to assemble and to maneuver afterwards. However, the slip resistance is lacking on the base. Each time my Mother sat down in her chair...it would slide a little further off the base. In time I would have to completely readjust everything. It slides away on carpet and bare floors! Rubber feet on the bottom, or a slide on brace, plus a larger roughed surface on top side of base would prevent the lift chair from sliding away from the EZ Table. These are things I believe I can conjure up a remedy for myself. But the company could easily improve their product by addressing this issue. It is a good table for furniture that will not move easily or slide back when you sit... like a heavy couch.

This is one of the smartest things I have bought. I work at home and use this probably 8 plus hours a day. I sit in my favorite chair and use this for my laptop and my back is much happier than ever before!
An Ideal Solution

We like to use our laptops while watching TV and recently bought a loveseat recliner. We were using lap desks, but what do you do with them when you get up Put them on the floor and chance tripping over them These tables are functional, easy to assemble and attractive...an ideal solution. We bought one right and one left and we love them.

We have a power recliner loveseat, and my wife likes to have her laptop in front of her while she watched T.V. We ordered this for her and it works perfectly. I will be ordering one for me as well soon.
