LOVE!!! Super soft and waterproof. My kitties are crated often because they either spray or are incontinent. I needed a fluffy bed that could be washed. My cousin has these and they wash up so well - she air dries them so I will as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they are packaged in re-usable bags. Great for traveling! Super soft and smell good - we all have purchased things that smell off, eh? Not these. Kitties took right to them. The back is slip resistant which would be great for when the bed is on a hard surface - I use mine on the shelf of their crate. On a side note, my first order of two beds never arrived even though it said DELIVERED. Wayfair customer service was amazing and sent replacements for both beds. I bought three of these large size mats. I have two Boxers and a very big Lab mix. The mats fit really well in the huge crates I'm using. The large size mat is perfect for the large size cot as well. It appears they will wash well and fit easily in my washer. This will be less work for me and be cleaner for them. I had hoped that this mat would be a solution to the obsession with removing the stuffing from everything(!) one of these brats is always taking out of her stuff. This bad girl doesn't know the value of a dollar or thirty. Maybe she just hates doggie beds and pillows. She could be trying to fluff it more. I'm not sure why, but she has already torn her mat and started pulling the stuffing out. I'm not surprised. This is her M.O. There isn't a doggie bed, pillow or blanket that she hasn't opened and pulled the stuffing out of. Fortunately for both of us she limits her damages to dog bedding and not people bedding. When my pets' water bowl got tipped over, the water beaded up on the surface of the mat and remained there for at least 15 minutes before I got a towel to mop it up. Soo.. I just want to start by saying that this dog mat has been a lifesaver! Though it originally came dirty even inside of the plastic and the removable cover had to be washed, Wayfair’s customer service was good about handling the inconvenience. The mattress did start off very flat, but that’s as to be expected with memory foam. It did finally reach its full expansion potential by the next day, as you can see in the pictures that I provided you can see it got higher towards the headboard on the Hazeltine dog bed that I also ordered from Wayfair (this mattress fits PERFECTLY! I have no idea why others found it so hard to find a mattress with these exact dimensions.) My dog used to sleep on my 4yr old’s bed with her every night on the bottom bunk, (memory foam) so I thought why not get my dog a miniature version of her own and put it in the kids room so that the transition won’t be so hard on either of them, and when I say it worked like a charm, I mean just that! My yorkie gets cold and the Sherpa does the trick! The dog bed holds her weight (my 34lb 4yr old lol though I only let her get on it once.) but is also soft enough for my dog to melt into, in a good way. She sleeps like a baby... Danielle. I like this dog mat, but for some reason I was expecting it to have a thicker pad. I’m sure I just missed that in the specifications. Its also not as soft to the touch as I was hoping. Finally a bed my 13 year old 65lb dog doesn't roll off of. He seems to like it best out of his 3 beds, and although sizing charts always say he could do a size smaller, the Large size is perfect. His old man hips and joints seem to be less stiff when he gets up in the morning. Just received this and have placed it in my dog's crate. He tore up his last crate bed but this bed seems to be more chew proof. He loves his new bed and now I don't have to worry about him not being comfortable anymore. I have to update this review as I just found out my dog tore his new bed up, therefore this bed is not chew proof after all.
